My daughter and I had a lovely stay and will return!
Pros:

Location and breakfast were great. The breakfast was light. The fruit salad was delicious. The buttermilk pancakes were good too.

Cons:

Not enough parking spaces.

Also, the breakfast to order was a big surprise!

Wonderful beach vacation at Ocean Inn Bed & Breakfast…would definitely return for another stay!
Pros:

The property was newly renovated with a wonderful coastal vibe inside. The original wrap around porch was very cozy for breakfast outside, relaxing with a book or hanging out with friends. It was two short blocks to the beach, and 10 min walk from downtown. Coffee, tea, flavored water, iced tea and lemonade offered all day long and into the evening. The breakfasts were tasty and you had a choice of the cooked breakfast of the day, or 3 items from the breakfast menu. All the staff, front desk and wait staff, were very personable and helpful. Also, beach chairs, towels, and beach bikes available to guests free of charge.

Cons:

The stairs to our room were steep but if you are in good shape, it should not be much of a problem. The room was clean and comfortable but there is a window air conditioner, so if you are sensitive to noise, bring earplugs.

3 story winding staircase. Not good for elders. Small uncomfortable bed. Lousy pillows. Loud in window ac units.

Highly recommend The Ocean House
Pros:

Close to the beach, comfortable bed, nice shower, lovely full breakfast, coffee available from 5am, morning newspapers

Cons:

No elevator and room was on the 3rd floor

I would never want tourists to come to my paradise, it is amazing you are hospitable at all
Pros:

The breakfast was ok, really enjoyed the overnight oats. Great water pressure. Very clean rooms and friendly staff.

Cons:

More gluten free options, even if pre packed becuase there is no where to go otherwise. rainy day activities.

I couldn't wait to get home.
Pros:

The breakfast was ridiculously small. I've been to other B&Bs where the variety and creativity of the breakfast was amazing. The Ocean House was dull.

Cons:

The mattress gave us backaches. The breakfast was too small. The owners were not personable at all. Snacks were $1.00, at other establishments all snacks were homemade and FREE.

Beautiful spot to relax in Sping Lake.
Pros:

Great location one block from the beautiful Spring Lake beach and boardwalk. Clean, comfortable room and good breakfast included. Lobby areas felt like I was relaxing while visiting a friend’s comfortable home. Friendly staff, especially the two chocolate Labrador greeters!

The overall feeling of the house was wonderful. Our room was very clean and a nice size. We loved how close Ocean House is to the beach. Breakfast was very good. The staff was exceptional
