Lovely place, breakfast should of been a lot better
Pros:

The location was good

Cons:

Very hot rooms with only 1 fan, the breakfast was cold, and took a long time to refill it, someone complained and the manager had a bit of a attitude with him.

Short but enjoyable
Pros:

Breakfast was good value for money if you opted for the buffet.

Cons:

On checking in we should have been told that the goods for sale there would not be available after 6.45 ! All extras that you need if you arrive late. Night staff cannot take money or did not appear to know how to put in on our room number.

Friendly staff and great food
Pros:

Staff were welcoming from the moment we walked through the door, the lodge was clean and so peaceful. The food was excellent, staff in the bar were really friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Lodges are quiet and comfortable, a fan would be really helpful. I am staying whilst working and a returners rate for rooms would be great for returning customers.

Just one step away from excellent
Pros:

The welcome by the front of house team on Monday was warm and professional. Joey is a bit of a star so make sure you keep him on board. Evening meal service and quality on Tuesday night top class from the meet and greet through to ordering and service.
The building with the rooms has an excellent vibe of relaxation. Might be something left in the air from all the parties in the 70's?

Cons:

The whole experience was let down by one team member. First morning we weren't greeted with a cheery "welcome" as you would expect early doors, The time between order and service for two bowls of granola and a portion of toast was an age. Second morning there was no one around to "welcome" so we sat down. We had been seen but no one came near us to take an order. I went to the till to order and was told, unlike yesterday, that we should check in otherwise no one would know we were there. We had been looked at at least three times before we were told this. Someone could have asked us. This is why staff did not get the full happy emoji. Get this resolved and bingo, you'll quality the as befits the rest of the venue and your team.

Wonderful hotel (although it felt like a large country home!) full of character and wildlife.
Pros:

Stayed for a work trip and it was my first time here, the hotel is beautiful and my suite was particularly wonderful. The nature that sits around the hotel (red kites, rabbits and swans) is lovely. I enjoyed the split gym, one side for cardio machines and the other for weights, both open 24/7. There’s also a small shop for anything you might’ve forgotten which is handy as the nearest shop is a 10 min drive. I’ll be back!

Cons:

In my honest opinion the overnight staff weren’t great, I was looking for an iron between 6am-7am and unfortunately no one was around. There was a number left but there was no answer.

The breakfast was quite mid too and didn’t meet my expectations.

Lovely weekend
Pros:

Lovely buildings in well kept grounds. Clean room. Pleasant clubhouse. Enjoyed a drink on the balcony in the sunshine overlooking the golf course. Good location.

Cons:

Unable to order breakfast as no server came to our table. Maybe due to very very busy Sunday a morning with few staff. Eventually gave up waiting and left. Disappointed.

It was OK
Pros:

The location was great and the individual lodges a great idea

Cons:

The lodges didn’t have any air conditioning, fridges or phones in the rooms. There were also no net curtains or anyway of having any privacy without having the curtains closed the whole time which meant the room was very dark when trying to get changed in the room as had to keep the curtains closed.

The Springs is a great place to stay! It is in a central location with good connections.
Pros:

Full buffet breakfast now only offered at weekends. A simple continental breakfast available every morning would be a good option.

Cons:

Chalets are very hot in good weather and ventilation options are limited.

Extremely good value on the whole.
Pros:

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable room with excellent facilities.EV charging facilities

Cons:

Quite a walk to get to the bar and restaurant ( though they did have stunning views of the golf course).
If not on an inclusive deal, then less choice at breakfast . Having to pay for tea, coffee and juice in addition to breakfast, which made it pricey.
