Rundum zufrieden!
Pros:

Eines sollte man wissen: das Huberhaus ist kein Hotel. Deshalb ist eben einiges anders als im Hotel.
Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß, vielleicht nicht supermodern, aber völlig in Ordnung. Das Haus ist zweckmäßig. Essen ist gut und reichlich in Buffetform.. Die Küchencrew gibt sich viel Mühe und geht auch mal auf kleine Sonderwünsche ein. Auch das restliche Personal war immer freundlich und um die Wünsche der Gäste bemüht.
Kinder haben viele Spielmöglichkeiten drinnen und draußen. Haustiere sind ausdrücklich willkommen..Auch behinderte Menschen kommen im Huberhaus gut zurecht. Interessant fand ich die Vielfalt der Gäste, junge und ältere Paare, Familien, Gruppen, durchaus international.
Man kann in der Cafeteria auf Vertrauensbasis Getränke und Snacks kaufen, zu einem moderaten Preis. Man schreibt einfach alles auf einen Zettel und bezahlt bei Abreise.

Cons:

Einen klitzekleinen Minuspunkt bekommt das Bad. In unserem Zimmer war es recht eng, jemand mit körperlichen Einschränkungen hätte da Probleme haben können.

A very good place to stay.
Pros:

It was close to the city and there was free parking. It was also a very good service that they gave us free ticket to the citybus during the stay. The family room for 5+ persons is big with 3 rooms and with two bathrooms - very comfortable. It was very quiet and peaceful place to stay. It is also possible to walk to the city in 10-15 min. There is a playground for kids outside, a room to watch TV with others and also possible to sit outside and enjoy the weather.
The hotel is close to many tourist attractions in the nearby cities.

Cons:

We had evening dinner at the hotel 1 day and the food was not amazing and it seemed to be that there was not enough food for guests coming later. We preferred to have dinner in the city instead. But the staff in the kitchen were very friendly.
Friday and Saturday it was not easy to find parking at the hotel. It could also have been nice if it was allowed to bring/eat food in the hotel rooms.

Für den kurzen Aufenthalt stimmt Preis Leistung.
Pros:

Saubere Unterkunft , nettes Personal , angenehmes rundum Ambiente. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe und Umgebung , fusläufig erreichbar .

Cons:

Ein Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer wäre toll gewesen . Wenig Geschirr außerhalb des Küchen Betriebs vorhanden , kaffeeautomat vorhanden aber ohne Becher oder Tasse kein Zugriff .
Hat einen jugendherbergscharakter.

Pros:

Sehr freundliches Personal, es ist alles sauber und es hat eine super Lage, man ist zu Fuß in 10-15 Minuten in der Innenstadt von Wernigerode.
