Perfect place to stay in Anuradhapura
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at The Ivy Lake in Anuradhapura and would highly recommend this accommodation. The team organised a driver to pick us up from the airport, which made our arrival very smooth and stress-free. They also helped arrange a TukTuk driver for a city tour, which was a great way to explore the area. The property itself is very beautiful and well maintained, and we especially loved the small café right next door. The staff were extremely attentive, friendly, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The location is very central and convenient for visiting the main sights. We would definitely stay here again!

Pros:

Het ontbijt en dat we er wat konden eten/drinken. Het personeel was vriendelijk en de safari was voor ons geregeld. Onze kamer was ook mooi

Pros:

Alles wat je nodig hebt is er… bij het ontbijt kan je kiezen wat je wil. Vriendelijk personeel.

Cons:

De ligging is misschien iets minder. Er is nog veel verkeer langs de baan en er wordt ook heel vaak getrompt door de chauffeurs

Its not worth it and staff was not helpful except the lady who helped us during check in and check out. Anyways they had
Pros:

Location- Its located near Anuradhapura city and easy access to the city and sacred puja city

Cons:

Washroom amenities were missing like shampoo or shower gel , toothpaste ,toothbrush and hand soap .
Couldn’t find a functional vent in the washroom Its kinda blocked .
At last , There was a guy taking a shower outside half naked in front of the window we noticed that when we tried to open the curtains of the windows. That was a surprise .

A wonderfully surprising stay.
Pros:

Unexpectedly wonderful at a low price. The room was modern and clean with a good mattress and bedding. Although not advertised in the listing, there were tea making facilities and a fridge. A comfortable chair was welcome. The showers were good, if a little fiddly to figure out. We really like the warm welcome from Roshini (?) and enjoyed good coffee and great food from the cafe Hudo on the property. Unusually for us, we booked a tuk tuk tour through Ivy Lake as we like the people here and we paid the driver directly and not via the guesthouse, which we liked.

Cons:

The gardens are lovely, and the ‘heritage’ windows in our room, but the road outside is well used from early in the morning and the sound travels. We were fine with it, but be aware.

Pros:

Room was clean with good facilities - kettle, fridge etc. location was good.

Cons:

Although Sri Lankan breakfast was offered on the menu, when requested, it wasn’t available.
Staff were pleasant but not engaging

Pros:

Having a little cafe there was great. Beautiful set up with clean and lovely rooms. The staff were super helpful. Walking distance to the ancient city if you don’t mind a walk

Cons:

Not being able to get Sri Lankan food for dinner one night. The Western food wasn’t as good as the Sri Lankan food.
