OK stay at The Chequers
Pros:

Conveniently located when visiting Bourne End/Cookham and surrounding areas. Staff were friendly and helpful. Quiet location.

Cons:

Room was a little dated. Could do with new bed linens/towels. Bathroom mirror was so high on the wall it was difficult to use. Toilet holder loose on the wall.

A really well thought out premises, great rooms and good food in great surroundings.

Cons:

Breakfast was charged sperately, it's a very small thing but a Bed and Breakfast included rate would be welcome.

It was an amazing experience and relaxing.
Pros:

Welcoming, clean and amazing menu.
Staff were very kind, excellent customer care and approach.
Room was very clen and comfortable, restaurant ambience was amazing and i love the menu. Food was well served and very taste. 5 stars for location :)

Disappointing considering the money spent. Ok for a passing by stay
Pros:

Location was lovely and quiet, attached pub was very nice and the breakfast was lovely

Cons:

Staff were quite unfriendly and unwelcoming. Dirty laundry on the floors of the communal areas, lots of dirty cups and things just around. Paid for early check in at 12 but room was still dirty and not ready until 1.20pm - no offer even of a drink or anything whilst we sat outside on a bench to wait
