Pros:

Absolut empfehlenswert!

Pros:

Great staff, good location

Not what we had expected.
Pros:

The food, overall wasn’t bad.

Cons:

It was partly my fault for, perhaps, not checking enough, however:
The room had no wardrobe or cupboards, merely hooks on the wall so almost all clothing had to be kept in your suitcase. The bathroom was small and the wash basin was the tiniest I’ve ever come across in a hotel; it held, maybe,2 pints of water.
The “Mountain View” best quality room that we booked was right over the busy A5 road so there was a lot of traffic noise.
We had reserved a table for dinner but there was no service. All food and drinks had to be ordered at the bar, which always had at least 4/6 people waiting to be served (a lot of trade in the pub comes from nearby camp sites). The food, to be fair, wasn’t bad.
Breakfast next morning wasn’t that bad but by then we’d had enough and, despite having paid up front for 4 nights, we left after breakfast.
As I said, it was partly my fault for not researching enough.

Pros:

Location and staff, who were all excellent. Evening meals amazing!

Cons:

Rooms are quite small, on the road so lots of noise through open windows. Breakfast quality, in terms of items available, a bit variable
