Lovely room. Friendly staff. I really enjoyed the entertsinment: singers and bingo every night. I will definitely be returning. Thank you.
Location
Terrible pillow
Tiny TV
Small bedrooms with thin walls
Lipstick on mug in room on arrival
Basic breakfast
Noise from traffic
Unhelpful male receptionist
Decent price, friendly staff and great location
Walls and ceilings are paper thin, woken up numerous times overnight to what sounded like the room next to me rearranging the furniture, everyone room above went to the toilet you could hear it, great location and decent price, just take ear buds!!
Good value. All staff were excellent, friendly and helpful with the exception of one "suit" at the reception desk .
Restricted evening restaurant facilities.
Breakfast was perfect staff very pleasant television needs more variety more channels .
Nothing.
Very friendly and helpful staff - nothing too difficult!
Location not too far from town and bus stops adjacent to hotel and not too far from train station.
There were a few little "surprises". The day before departing, for an extra £10, we were offered the option of booking in at 13.00 hrs which to us, was not useful.
A small glass of wine was included in first night's dinner but payable thereafter. I guess the hotel industry is struggling and so needs to try to increase its income by whatever means.
There seemed to be no choice when booking a room and we ended with one looking onto a side street so not great.
Very comfortable bed, perfect location for seafront and town center.
Good Breakfast Choices and variety of main courses.
5 foot bed would be ideal
It is a British 1800 hotel on the water bay, fantastic
Clean and close to aminities
Bit old fashioned
Breakfast was decent and breakfast staff were very friendly
Very dated rooms and overall decor was drab, stuck in the 80s/90s
Staff were pleasant particularly the bar staff.
The room (44) was beyond tired. One bedside lamp that was probably 30 years old, plugged into a socket that hadn’t had its cover screwed on properly. Skirting and general decor was grubby.
The staff were excellent. The sea view was excellent with the location literally across the road from the beach.
Due to an event at Goodwood (FOS) the price was extortionate any other weekend was half the price.
Our room was a good size and very clean. The breakfast was good and waiters/waitresses were very pleasant. The hotel location was extremely good. We liked staying in a hotel on the seafront. Being able to park for free in front of the hotel main door was great, as I am disabled.
We found our room (G1) dark and the view from our window was not nice. The lack of natural light in our room and the poor view we found depressing and off putting. We do not want to stay in this room again.
Good brkfst. And good waItress
They forgot to service my room and the lady receptionist had to do it in the afternoon.
