Pros:

L'emplacement est top, à quelques pas du château de Gjirokaster et du vieux bazar ! Pour y accéder, la route est sinueuse mais bien construite. Les chambres étaient propres, et l'hôtel en lui-même est vraiment authentique : vieille maison albanaise reconvertie et tenue par une petite famille. D'ailleurs, l'hôte, Albi, nous a guidé étape par étape au moment de l'arrivée (par appel vidéo sur WhatsApp) pour trouver l'hôtel. Le petit-déjeuner était vraiment bon, avec en bonus une vue sur la vieille ville et les montagnes.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt! Die Lage des Castle-Hotels ist einfach super und die Aussicht ist ein absoluter Traum. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich herzlich und freundlich. Auch das Frühstück war wirklich mega lecker! Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen.

Magnifique hôtel, très propre et parfaitement entrenu avec un excellent accueil ! Literie parfaire. On s’y sént très très bien.
Petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux.sur la terrasse qui nous permet d’admirer le paysage.
Mention très bien pour le restaurant : tout est frais et fait maison. Un délice !

The property is beautiful and in a fantastic location. The room was big and clean and the shower was a dream and had a Roman shower as well.

Un hôtel à fuir !
Pros:

Emplacement et vue depuis la terrasse au petit déjeuner.

Cons:

Accès très compliqué y compris avec Waze.
Voiture pas garée dans un vrai parking.
Aucune aide pour les valises alors qu’il m’est demandé de me stationner à distance de l’hôtel.
Accueil glacial et seul le paiement de la chambre semble intéresser notre interlocuteur.
Chambre très petite sans possibilité d’ouvrir une valise.
Quasi pas d’éclairage dans la chambre, notamment pour lire.
Pas de terrasse à la chambre ni de vue sur jardin, contrairement à l’annonce.
Le lit double promis est en réalité deux matelas réunis par un drap beaucoup trop court, ce qui fait que les matelas se désunissent.
Pas de café au petit déjeuner et une infusion au lieu du thé demandé.

Le plus mauvais hôtel, et de très loin, de nos 17 jours à sillonner l’Albanie.
J’aurais aimé pouvoir être indulgent mais trop, c’est trop, même si 98 € pour 2 nuits avec petits déjeuners, ce n’est pas cher…

Fantastisch uitzicht!
Pros:

Zowel vanuit de slaapkamer als vanaf het terras heb je een fantastisch uitzicht. De hosts waren vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze hielpen ons ook met het vinden van een parkeerplek bij de accommodatie.

Het “entertainmentteam”, bestaande uit twee lieve kittens, maakte het ontbijt samen met het prachtige uitzicht helemaal compleet. Dat zorgde voor een heel leuke en bijzondere start van de dag.

Cons:

Een klein verbeterpunt is de badkamer. De douche, het toilet en de wastafel bevinden zich in één kleine ruimte. Tijdens het douchen wordt daardoor bijna de hele ruimte nat. Een klein douchegordijn of een raamwisser zou het veel makkelijker maken om de badkamer daarna weer droog en prettig in gebruik te maken.

Perfect place to stay.
Pros:

Wonderful people, great breakfast, close to the bazaar and castle. Tricky for cars but they will help you figure that out. Walking up and down to the bazaar requires decent shoes like sneakers as it's steep and cobbled.

The Lulo family have by far the best hotel in all of Gjirokastër.
Pros:

Fantastic location just below the castle, and just above the bazaar area. You couldn’t ask for a more prime location. The property is neat, clean, comfortable, and has the best views you could possibly ask for.

Cons:

Everything was outstanding. There is nothing to not like.
