Lovely river resort to chill for a day or so
Pros:

We loved the location halfway back from Munnar to Cochin .. one overnight stop off. Fabulous river setting, and we were lucky to have it mainly to ourselves, shame not some more garden furniture or access to the river to walk. The staff were trying hard to make sure we were happy and all good fun. Plus good to have a bar on site but lacking in a good wine & lighter beers.

Cons:

We felt the rooms need some attention, the bathrooms needed a deep clean really and the breakfast wasn’t the best quality.. proper butter & fresher fruit & better black tea needed please. But evening meal was very good.

Pros:

A peaceful resort in a remote and quiet village off the beaten track.
Beautiful food for breakfast and dinner.
Attentive, friendly and helpful staff.
The sound of birds song and the beautiful fragrant smells in the fresh air- absolutely amazing.
Secret beer and wine parlour on the front lawn which was lovely to enjoy a beer after a long day at the elephant sanctuary.
We were lucky to arrive on the last day of festival and the village invited us on their religious festival trek to the temple with elephants walking with us on the trail through the village! Amazing experience. So blessed.

Cons:

The rooms are basic but we wouldn't expect much more for the price. Comfortable bed, I slept very well. Good value for money.

Hot water not guareented but again its an Indian village so we dont expect western standards. My showers were hot- my husband had it cold. Ensure you have the first shower if it bothers you!

Pros:

Staff, gardens and pool, food.

Cons:

Rooms tired, aircon didn’t work, shower didn’t work, sink plug got stuck, horrid sheets. All sorted out quickly but shame it wasn’t right at the start.

a short good one day trip with family.
Pros:

good staff, everything thing went well .

Cons:

it was mentioned in booking.com about spa bath and that was not available in the room( miss guided)

check in time was mentioned 12 and it was 1 pm and check out was 11 , wrongly mentioned in booking.com
