Surroundings were amazing with a waterfall in the backyard! Very friendly staff!

Small but cute room with the details like cups, furniture and so on.
It’s possible to sit outside with the amazing lake view.
But the best thing is nature! There are many birds and howler monkeys, so if you sleep sensitively it’s better to use earplugs.

The shower did not seem to have hot water.

You can hear everything. Dogs barking next door. Not sure if it’s a dog that stays here.
It’s a beautiful rain forest area with amazing tropical birds
Overall stay was good with only one complaint that we had a lot of bugs such a spiders and centipedes in our room which I understand that are common in Costa Rica but still was a bit scary for me.
Overall the staff was lovely and the view from the hotel is also great as you get to see beautiful birds from the balcony.
For the price we paid would recommend it
Cleanliness
We enjoyed the great view, the clean room, the fact that we could dry our laundry by hanging in on the ceiling fan, the quaint restaurant, friendly staff, and especially the many birds and some with long beaks - Toucans, but there were many other birds with beautiful colours.
There was no A/C and the rooms were rather small and it was in the middle of nowhere.
The property provides a unique opportunity to view exotic looking local bird life. The views are also wonderful. Nice patio area outside for sitting. Overall great for the money.
The rooms are minimal on provisions but provide the necessities of comfortable bed, bathroom, shower. No coffee pot for the room. Breakfast available on site but not until 8am. For those that get up with the sun a coffee pot and fixings for the room would be appreciated.
The view is just amazing and the food is good! Friendly, helpful owners.
