Cute and quaint. Lovely pool and grounds with lots of nature and wildlife. Very comfortable beds, nice pool, relaxing hammock.
It was a little noisy by the road during the day but perfectly quiet at night.
Hammocks and pool was very relaxing and Wolf was awesome
The pool is amazing. Wolfgang and Cecilia are very helpful and friendly. The hammock and room is lovely. Wolfgang took me into the village because I didn't have a car.
We loved the pool and the surroundings are so beautiful! Each room has its own veranda where you can sit and relax. The host, Wolf, is very kind and very helpful, he has good recommendations and he is funny. We are going back for just one night because we miss it already! 10/10 would definitely recommend staying here!
Cute cottages with the BEST water pressure in the shower and great hot water! Wolf, the owner, is very friendly. Close to Montezuma downtown and beaches. We loved seeing all the wild life around the property. The pool is nice and had some floaties available for our kids. Great price too!
Wolf was very helpful, was happy to supply cutlery & plates etc so we could make our own breakfast. The pool area was a great relaxing place to watch the monkeys.
The bathroom was tired & the sink very stained.
Nice place, feeling at home, an easy access to the swimming pool(24/7) and the 2 rooms were sharing the same terrace (we were a group of 4). Wolf and his gf were both nice and willing to give some advices and always with a smile.
We had the furthest lodge and the WiFi wasn't working.. but we never asked Wolf to fix it. Maybe our own mistake.
We d loved to have the swimming pools lights turned on during the early evening and our apéro(s) close or in the pool but once again we never asked Wolf to turn those on or the reason why those were turned off.
The room we were in was VERY clean, the bed was very comfortable, the bedding was also nice.
There was very good air conditioning, a very clean fridge that worked well, a spacious table to put luggage and bags on, as well as two bedside tables with lamps and a very spacious closet and bathroom counter space.
The shower pressure was good (hot and cold water).
Overall this is a well maintained property that I'd visit again.
There was plenty of parking at the hotel.
The coffee/tea maker with mugs was a nice touch, though we didn't bring any coffee or tea with us to make use of it.
The hammock outside of our room was spacious enough for two (and securely hung).
The pool outside was well maintained with plenty of options for chairs and lounge chairs, and an outdoor shower.
Wolf, the owner, was very helpful in recommending local places to eat, which was appreciated.
The hotel is very close to the main town of Montezuma, about 800 meters away. There are plenty of places to park in town.
IMPORTANT: The hotel is situated at the top of a very steep hill, I wouldn't feel comfortable walking into the main town of Montezuma from the hotel because of the way that vehicles and ATVs speed up and down the hill. Plus the hill is so steep it would take the enjoyment out of the outing. The roads are narrow and there aren't any sidewalks. It would be dangerous to walk at night on the roads because of the lack of sidewalks. Otherwise, the hotel is a perfect distance from town if you have a car or ATV.
so nice that the buildings are separate but close. the pool was amazing. the staff were lovely everything worked and was very clean.
the only downside is the hill (not the owners fault!) but they told us as soon as we arrived how to find a taxi for the way back which was very cheap.
mountainous and near wildlife
room was clean
air worked
pool needs attention
very basic
