Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful.
The location is relaxing and the building has lots of character.
The quality of food was great

Cons:

Our room was very noisy as it was close to a children's play area and the kitchen extractor fan. This also made the room smell strongly of cooking food

Lovely room and good food
Pros:

Rooms were exceptionally clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The check in was really easy and the breakfast menu had some good options. Staff were chatty at breakfast which starts the day off right.

Cons:

The only small thing was that the toilet was so close to the bathroom door it was hard to sit down properly on it.

Pros:

The room was dirty with spiders and moths, I actually had an allergic reaction to something in the room and ended up checking out and spending the night in A & E

Lovely staff made the trip. Excellent facilities!!!

Pros:

Lovely views, food was fantastic and staff so friendly always helpful and just so pleasant. Room was cosy, bed was outstanding 1st full night sleep in age's even in this heat!!! Fan provided and just all round amazing 2days away with my daughter. Thank you 😊

Great and worth the money
Pros:

Our friends had breakfast and they really enjoyed it, staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was good for what we needed. We had a drink in the hotel but then went to a party.

Cons:

I wouldn't say there was anything we didn't like but we booked the hotel but had to be in the centre of Penistone for 4.30
