Pros:

Darosa del mar ligt in het rustige noorden van Siargao, waar je het echte eilandleven nog vindt, ver weg van het drukke General Luna. Waar de kinderen nog naar je zwaaien als je voorbij rijdt. Waar je in het dorpje verse vis kunt kopen bij het winkeltje waarna deze direct op de bbq bereid wordt. Of je gaat voor gemakkelijk bij het restaurant eten op het parkje bij de bungalows. Direct aan het prachtige strand gelegen. Er zijn twee bungalows direct aan het strand en vier erachter met zeezicht. Fantastische bedden (die wil ik thuis ook!). Het handigste is als je zelf vervoer hebt bijvoorbeeld een scooter. Het is een leuke tocht om te rijden van zuid naar noord en vv. We hadden graag langer willen blijven.

One day in Paradise!! We will return for a longer stay.
Pros:

DaRosa Del Mar is a spectacular place to stay. The location is unparalleled, steps from the beach which we had entirely to ourselves. My girlfriend and I drove up from General Luna to Alegria Beach and decided to spend the night, it’s just by chance we chose DaRosa Del Mar.
I really can’t say enough great things about and the next time we visit Siargao we plan to stay here for several days.
The staff is outstanding. The on-site restaurant serves delicious food. I ordered chicken fajitas for lunch one day and pancakes for breakfast the next morning, both were literally the best I have ever had.
If you’re visiting this area you must stay here, you will not find a better all around choice. It’s quiet, intimate & beautiful.

Shower and room dated and in need of refurb.

Not worth 43€ a night that I paid. No breakfast included..

Almost paradisr
Pros:

Nice, well kept, quiet location at the north corner of island with direct access to the beach. Tasty meals and big portions for reasonable prices at the restaurant. Good wifi and using solar energy for power.

Cons:

The type of a/c used in the apartment was quite noisy

Pros:

L’environnement et l’ambiance de ce lieu est particulier. L’atmosphère y est ressourçante, simple et accueillante. L’accès à la plage offre des beaux paysages et un beau ciel en début ou fin de journée. La restauration est de qualité.les patrons sont sympas également. Et coup de cœur pour Bella (la chienne) qui nous suivait partout.

Cons:

La dernière commande pour le dîner est à 19h. Ce n’était pas grave mais ça demande de s’organiser un petit peu en conséquence.

Wir kommen wieder ! Eine entspannte Insel , mit tollen Menschen !
Pros:

Eine kleine Bungalow Anlage direkt am Beach von Alegria ,einfach wunderschön, mit dem Roller sind alle Highlight der Insel einfach zu erkunden .
Wir haben uns sehr Wohlgefühlt .

Perfect beach get away
Pros:

Beach front, stunning white sand, and in a quiet location. The friendly owners built the resort's six guest cottages to a high standard and everything during our stay was just perfect. Starlink satellite internet, solar power with battery storage and backup generator means reliable power and high speed internet. The onsite restaurant has an extensive menu and every meal was delicious. The resort can arrange transportation to/from the airport and places like General Luna. I have visited this resort twice and will continue to do so in the years ahead.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dieser Unterkunft und haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Anlage ist wunderschön und sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend und hilft bei jeglichen Anliegen gerne aus, von Flughafentransfer über Scooter-Verleih oder Wasch-Service. Die Eigentümer leben ebenfalls in der Anlage und sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und versorgten uns mit super Tipps für Sehenswürdigkeiten der Insel. Es gibt zwei Katzen und einen Hund, die sehr zutraulich sind. Das Essen hat und rundum gut geschmeckt, es wird immer frisch gekocht. Wir verbrachten hier einen unserer schönsten Aufenthalte auf den Philippinen und würden jederzeit gerne wieder kommen.

Overall good stay
Pros:

We had a nice stay in a beautiful setting. The place is thoughtfully designed and has a lovely atmosphere.

Unfortunately, the weather was quite stormy during our visit, so we didn’t get much sleep. I can imagine that in good weather, this would be an peaceful and relaxing place.

The beds were comfortable, and the food was good, which made our stay enjoyable overall.

Ubicación frente al mar, con zona de tumbonas y hamacas para relajarse y disfrutar del ambiente super acogedor

Cons:

El restaurante está bien, pero la relación calidad/precio no es de la mejores. Los precios son alto para la calidad de la comida. Las personas externas (no huéspedes) pueden acceder a las instalaciones de playa y hamacas, lo que a veces, especialmente si hay niños o grupos familiares rompe el encanto del hogar. Nosotros tuvimos un sábado que levantarnos y irnos a dar una vuelta porqué dos familias se pasaron la tarde con los niños invadiendo y no respetando la paz y tranquilidad del hogar.
