Everything
Greta location very near bus stop to get all around the vineyard. Outside seating was nice. Good facilities to prep and cook meals.
A few noisy residents from 5am in the morning, but guess that can’t be helped. Could do with another washing machine as never got to use it as it was always full. Room could do with a bit of a spruce up.
Beautiful grounds and rooms, with porch and patios.
We loved our stay at the West Tilsbury Inn! Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed — air conditioning, a private bathroom, fridge, and microwave. Keith was so kind and welcoming; he even texted us directions before we arrived. When we got there, he made us feel right at home and gave us a tour of the property along with some of its fascinating history. I highly recommend staying here!
Room too cluttered with odds and ends
No staff on site
Too remote
Definitely not worth what we paid for
Breakfast was not included. If we knew more about it we would have brought food to help us in the morning.
It would have been nice to have coffee in the morning. We made some but we were not sure if we to use what we did.
Easy check in, clean facility, excellent bathtub
Bed was not a queen but a full. Sheets were like paper. TV didn’t work. No coffee or tea in the morning , no breakfast. The worst $500 a night room I could possible imagine.
Poor toilet functioning
nice
nothing
Right by a bus stop, and a nice summer house vibe. Plenty of areas to relax.
Seems a bit unkept could use some maintenance and fixing up
Very little
I didn’t like the informal check in. As a woman alone coming in at night, it was very disconcerting to not be greeted and to have to reach out several times to ascertain the location of the room and other particulars. If it weren’t for the kindness of my Uber driver after he saw how isolated the property was and the fact that I would need to manage luggage on stairs alone, I would have been completely inconvenienced just trying to get in. I was told there was a number 4 on the room and it was unnumbered so very confusing.
Then to learn upon arrival that there was no internet service, no Television service and very scarce cell service was maddening. Upon contacting the owner I was told that he had been trying to get the service reconnected after three days of it being out after an accident. I felt I should have been notified in advance that there was no Internet or television service available so I could make the decision if I wanted to be subjected to such an inconvenience. I know they hadn’t been changed because the rings around the curtain holders were all rusty!
I was there on business and the lack of an ability to communicate with my business network was detrimental to my business concerns. I was stressed all night and couldn’t sleep due to this inability to send or receive urgent communications. Further, the condition of the bath/shower which had dirty plastic shower curtains hanging completely enclosing the tub rendering it impossible to shower without some of this plastic touching my body meant I wasn’t about to shower under those circumstances. So I had to get up at the crack of Dawn and walk dragging my luggage down to the town hall where I could use their Internet service so I could call an Uber to take me to my clients home where I had to ask to use a bathroom to take a shower and get dressed appropriately for my day. There was no bottled water in the room. Absolutely piss poor hospitality for $400!!!
Location and atmosphere were very welcoming. Use of a full kitchen, laundry, dining and living spaces. Microwave in room and a very cold refrigerator (best I've ever had in a room). Location, away from the busy downtown areas was a nice.
No internet including tv. Although tv was not important. Seemed to be the internet provider issue.
