Beforehand you should know that Tortuguero is a town of only 0.6 mile of extension. It is very far away from the city as you may know it. It is a town where many species of animals live; among them: mammals, birds and other species in protection of the Tortuguero National Park. Occasionally the light can go out and the water as well. The hotel has no control over these events but we try to do everything possible so that this is not an impediment to the enjoyment of your stay.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Great stay
Pros:

The garden is amazing, with animals and flowers, the location is perfect, close to everything but not directly on the main street. The spa and laundry service are very good for rainy days. The room was clean and comfortable. Good wi fi.

Cons:

A bit overpriced, but Costa Rica is an expensive country

Bon compromis pour un séjour à Tortuguero

L'emplacement

Cons:

Espace piscine très très petit... nous n'avons pas pu y aller car à chaque il n'y avait plus de transat.
Avons réservé deux chambres car car avons voyagé avec nos enfants, l'hôtel n'a pas fait ce qu'il fallait pour que nos chambres soient côte à côte. Nous n'étions pas dans le même bâtiment.

Cómoda estadía
Pros:

Cómodo, limpio, buen desayuno. Me gustó la posibilidad de poder tomar el desayuno después del tour. También me gustó la posibilidad de ir a la playa justo al frente del hotel. Tortuguero ha sido una experiencia inolvidable, un lugar rodeado de naturaleza salvaje, vimos muchos animalitos. El hotel me ayudó a coordinar los tours y eso me dio confianza.

Cons:

Pedí cambiar la cantidad de noches de la estadía pero el hotel no aceptó, aunque hice la solicitud desde el primer día en que llegué.

Pros:

Gran problema con los animales que tiran al tejado fruta de los Árboles, haciendo demasiado ruido y no te deja dormir.
Solución fácil, una malla.

חדרים קטנים , אין זרם של מים בחדרים , נשארנו לילה אחד ולא הסכימו לזכות אותנו בחלק מהכסף . למרות שהפקיד קבלה אמר לנו שיתן לנו זיכוי .

Buen hotel, con mala relación calidad precio
Pros:

Me gustó la buena ubicación, los jardines, salir directamente a la playa desde el hotel, el aire acondicionado funcionaba bien.
El desayuno lo sirven hasta las 10 de la mañana, cosa que te permite hacer una excursión de 6 a 9 en canoa por el río, evitando el calor.
La piscina pequeña, con agua caliente, es un punto a mejorar.

Cons:

La cama para dos es un tanto estrecha, con una sola mesilla de noche.
Recordad llevar adaptador para cargar el móvil.
No aceptan billetes de dólares que no estén absolutamente impolutos.
El baño un tanto incómodo para poner las cosas de higiene.
La luz de la habitación es blanca, fría y solo se acciona desde la puerta, cosa que molesta al ir a dormir, ya que te tienes que levantar de la cama para apagarla.

Nice, clean place with friendly staff to spend 2 days in Tortuguero
Pros:

Nice little hotel with direct access to the beach.
The pool was small yet clean. As we were visiting in low season we had it badically for ourselves. In high-season it might get crowdy.

Cons:

No wifi in the room. You had to go to the reception area
