Very disappointing
Cons:

The room was stuffy and overheated. The radiator was permanently on, even through the night - the thermostat control was broken.
Although we reported the problem, the staff did not sort it. The manager told us he had turned the boiler off but this was clearly not the case as the radiators throughout the building stayed fully on. It was impossible to regulate the temperature in our room at any time. It was so overheated that we could not sleep.
We will not stay here again.

Overall, nice comfortable competitively priced accommodation with pleasant staff.
Pros:

Good location with lots of onsite parking. Comfortable clean rooms very reasonably priced for midweek.

Cons:

Would have liked glasses in the bedroom ( only plastic ones in the bathroom available) and couldn’t find a hairdryer

Wouldn't stay again as bed so uncomfortable
Pros:

The decor. Staff were helpful when we identified an issue with the room. Room size good. Night exit handy. Close to town. Plentiful parking when we visited

Cons:

Room and bathroom very dirty. Dust accumulation on skirting, carpet edges, on doors, on tile edges. Filthy toilet seat between seat and lid. Place could do with a deep clean as cleaner obviously only does basic vacuum and tidy/wipe over. There was a (red liquid?) stain on bathroom wall and toilet seat repeatedly fell off. Staff helpful however, when we pointed these two things out.

Mattress so hard that ended up with aching shoulder and hip joints, plus lower back pain. Hard to get comfortable.

Good room and excellent service
Pros:

Good sized room with excellent shower. Good meals and staff knowledgable regarding special dietary requirements

Cons:

The room was a little noisy - shutting doors and the quiz in the bar were disturbing.
