Excellent place to stay, spacious rooms, very clean and tidy.
Pros:

The Merlin was a lovely place to stay, very well furnished and excellent decor.
All staff were lovely and polite.

Pros:

Funky modern and clean. The breakfast was very good and the evening meal in the restaurant was a good standard

Cons:

Pet peeve? No loo brush ! Also it was embarrassing having a staff member coming to our room at 11 pm gone to ask to pay the meal and drinks which we understood to be added to the room, at 71 I and my friends of similar age have never had this happen before

Just right for my purpose.
Pros:

Nice hotel in nice setting. Very nice restraunt . Staff very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

No sink plug in my room. No toilet brush. Annoyingly Squeeky floorboards in corridor outside my room.

Good comfortable rooms, great staff and excellent food. Dinner was delicious and ditto for breakfast. Restaurant nicely busy, staff great. Nice atmosphere.

Light was reported on Friday as it wasn’t working but it was never fixed before leaving and the toilet seat.
