Family operated hotel near downtown
Pros:

The hotel is as described. Nicely decorated. The breakfast room seems cozy but I had a breakfast appointment already.
Very friendly and responsive staff.

Cons:

There was a breakdown of communications between Booking and the hotel. Fortunately, the hotel staff was very accommodating and left a key card for me.

(A car charging station - even if low power - would be a nice addition to the hotel.)

Uiterst plezierig.
Pros:

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. Goed restaurant met specialiteiten. Heerlijk ontbijt. Gezellige verblijfsruimte voor een bakje koffie, een spelletje of om wat te lezen.

Cons:

Helaas is er geen lift.

Wir kommen gerne wieder
Pros:

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Leider nur eine Nacht.

Was man direkt hervorheben muss sind die Kopfkissen. Endlich mal ein Hotel mit gescheiten Kopfkissen. Das Zimmer war sauber und es gab jede Menge Handtücher.

Im Treppenhaus gibt es eine toll gefüllte Candybar, wo sich der Gast kostenlos bedienen kann. Eine schöne leckere Geste der Gastgeber. Was man auch nicht überall hat ist im "Walters", dem eigentlichen Frühstücksraum, der ein wunderbares Wohnzimmerambiente hat, einen Kaffeeautomat plus heißes Wasser für Tee, plus kostenloses kaltes und gefiltertes Wasser und das Ganze 24/7. Dort kriegt man auch Softdrinks, Wein, Bier und kleine Knabbereien zu fairen Preisen.

Und dann ein Tip. Das Hotel hat ein Restaurant dabei. Geht dort essen. Ja, man kann sagen es ist schon "fine dining", eine kleine umd feine Karte wo trotzdem jeder was findet.. Der Küchenchef bringt tolles Essen auf den Tisch. Das Essen ist den Preis auf jeden Fall wert. Fragt nach einem Apperitif "Apfelsymphonie". Der ist zwar alkoholfrei, trotzdem ist er saulecker. Probiert ihn.

Das Frühstück ist toll. Auch für jeden was dabei. Man kann sich sogar einen O-Saft frisch pressen.

Man spürt das die Gastgeber voll hinter ihrem Konzept stehen und es leben. Bitte einfach weiter so. Das ist wirklich Gastfreundschaft.

Cons:

Es gibt nichts auszusetzen. Selbst vereinzelte Kritik von Vorgängern, die geschrieben haben dass es in den Zimmern von der Straße her zu laut sein soll können wir nicht bestätigen.
