Location and view. Also the night porter went above and beyond with checking the safety of the customers belongings. Credit to the hotel he was.
Staff were friendly, great location
Room was very dusty, couldnt use the fan due to amount of dust sadly. Open windows, sea front facing which was lovely until night time when students sat on the front drinking and blasting music until 3am but the room was very hot and uncomfortable so windows remained open. Shame and appreciate it was circumstantial but poor nights sleep.
I love this hotel! I'm sat here eating my breakfast as I write this and what a selection there is! Fresh fruits all cut up in little bowls, jars with mixed dried fruit, nuts and seeds, cereals, including gluten free varieties (three choices at that), dairy free alternatives in the milk and yoghurt too. As well as all the usual lovely fried English breakfast options. All this with peaceful music in the background and a very calm atmosphere.
The staff are so friendly and accommodating, I was about to leave with my luggage to carry around with me for the day and the lovely lady on reception said I could leave it there and collect later today at any point. We chatted a while and she said why not go and see if the breakfast has anything you fancy (I wasn't going to have any, originally) and I'm glad I did! The lovely staff were helpful and even found me some oat milk as there was only soya out (I normally bring my own milk alternative but I forgot and I can only stomach oat milk) If I'd let them know when I booked, they would have got it in.
The hotel is perfectly clean and has everything you might need. My room was cozy and welcoming.
I'd highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back!
Great location and the breakfast was lovely (all included). Staff were nice too. I liked how they had a TV showing the outside camera so you could get the sea view even when downstairs. Bedroom was just right for me.
