Very well run guest house. Would I recommend? Yes most definitely

Ignore comments on it being tired or shabby, it isn’t .nice touch was the chance to top up tea and coffee for rooms .Extra provisions in reception area. Breakfast was good , done to order . Is there anything more depressing than hot food left in a Bain Marie like many establishments. Not here. Don’t expect to find, a selection of fresh fruits and danish pastries. It’s not that sort of place. Expect fresh well cooked breakfast. This place reminded me of guest houses many years ago. Well
Run by a professional who knows what he is doing and cares about his guests

Cons:

Little privacy in my room. Looked onto some houses. A net curtain would be useful. Shower not the best and could not get it warm. Be mindful that some rooms like mine have no sockets by bed. If like my wife you use a sleep apnea machine, it could be a problem. Travelling alone this time so wasn’t a problem.

Reasonably priced, good location, really good b'fast.
Pros:

Single room was fine for the one night, and the shared toilet wasn't too far away. The big bonus was the excellent breakfast using local produce, arbennig !

Cons:

I think "sea view" was a bit of a stretch!

Pros:

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserer Unterkunft. Die Lage ist wirklich spitze und das Zimmer war trotz der geringen Größe sehr gemütlich und praktisch eingerichtet. Alles hat reibungslos funktioniert. Wir haben sogar ganz entspannt einen Parkplatz an der Straße gefunden. Wenn es möglich gewesen wäre,, hätten wir gerne eine weitere Nacht gebucht. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt.

Great location. Definitely room for improvements.
Pros:

Location excellent right beside the promenade. Easy check in. Price was 119 for one night x2 b&b. This was booked last minute. Breakfast was good there were options. Staff were friendly.

Cons:

I booked the room based on the reviews. However the guesthouse is dated. Not a big issue. Clean to a degree bed linen sheets and towels even the room carpet, however There was a definite funky smell coming from under the bed sheet so much so I used a towel to lay on top of. The mirror is the room must’ve have been cleaned with a wet cloth and not dried off as streak marks visible. Be mindful that this is a guest house so not all rooms may have an en-suite. Thankfully we did.

Very enjoyable stay

Location good and good breakfast.

Cons:

Parking could be an issue.
We did manage to park on side street.
Padarn room could do with a blind or net curtain as when we stayed it was very hot and had window open and there are houses behind looking straight into room
Apart from that excellent value.

Ich hatte einen sehr guten Aufenthalt und würde sofort wieder kommen.
Pros:

Normalerweise mag ich keine "self-check-ins". Hier war aber alles super organisiert. Ich habe es sehr geschätzt, dass man in das Gebäude eintreten und drinnen alles abwickeln konnte. Also nicht draussen auf der Strasse steht und sich zuerst mit Codes herumplagen muss. Die Lage ist super und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis auch. Dafür nehme ich das eher kleine Zimmer gerne in Kauf. Das Personal beim Frühstück war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Sollte ich wieder in der Gegend sein, würde ich sofort hier wieder buchen.

Habe nichts zu beanstanden.
