not what we expected
Pros:

Breakfast was very average. Location very good.

Cons:

Very indifferent food. Poor service at the coffee shop. Waited for over an hour to get lunch which was a very simple order

Overall was a nice 3 days
Pros:

The location is fantastic. We couldnt ask for anything better. The staff is very atentive.. Breaksfast was ok. I like the architecture of the rooms.

Cons:

The hotel facilities like the bathroom in our room are old.

Really beautiful stay Diani is Kenya is so beautiful
Pros:

Hotel is beautiful yes the rooms a little outdated but it added to the experience tbh the bar and pool and beach area were great!
We had monkeys coming up to our balcony which we were warned about their cheekiness but it added to the charm. Staff were very helpful, beach is nice idyllic we went on an amazing glass bottom boat with Hassan highly recommend.

Bathroom and shower wasn’t great

Very helpful staff
Pros:

The staff is extremely helpful! Shout out to Joanes, the guest relations manager, who went above and beyond to help us with our room problems. Not just that he helped us with the fair deals for day today transport,and activities. Really that made our experience so good.

Cons:

The property location is perhaps the most ideal location in Diani beach. However the rooms are more rundown with older facilities still. They are going through reconstructions and refurbishments after a long difficult period as I understand. Not a deal-breaker for me but that is something I didn't expect in the beginning. Got used to it.

What a beach!!
Pros:

The beach! Glorious. It's the best beach on South Coast flat, wide, endless with fine, powder sand. The sea is warm and the waves are gentle. The sunbed set up is on the beach and you can sunbathe for hours. If spending your days on the beach reading, sleeping, meditating, relaxing is your thing - it's excellent. Very nice mix of local and foreign tourists. Great beach bar - and they'll arrange activities for you - paddle board, kite surfing, jet - ski - I saw some people take off from the beach in a micro-light! Verify with the hotel if you take up an offer for a tour for dolphins etc from the beach - they'll help regulate the costs. Check with the hotel first. But what a beach!! Excellent for Kenyans also - the vibe is welcoming and respectful and very different from the rest.

Visit the local supermarket first (just up the road) before you haggle with the beach boys on trinkets - you'll get a good idea of prices - and a good selection of authentic Kenyan crafts

Cons:

The food is honest - but the standard is average. Your basic meal is good - but basic. Good fresh natural ingredients. Some people just need a good hearty meal, but lower your expectations on food and this place shines. On the other hand, it gives you the chance to half board so you can have one of your meals in town or explore the other restaurants around.

Pros:

We stayed at the Safari Beach hotel for our honeymoon between the 31st December to the 5th January and had a excellent time!

The facilties were great but the main thing to highlight were the staff who were both incredibly professional but also most amazing friendly. From the cleaners, the sunbed attendants, to the waiters and bar staff, they really couldn't do enough for you.

However our stay really wouldn't have been the same were it not for Jonas, our client relations contact. He booked every tuk tuk, most of our restaurants, offered great advice and his boundless energy and positivity really made the stay perfect

We had short sightedly not booked anything for New Years Eve, and Jonas worked tirelessly to make sure we were looked after and had something to book. He was an absolute hero and we honestly can't thank him enough.

The rooms were clean, spacious and quiet. The beach bar was great and lunch time food was fine.

Cons:

My only critique would be the breakfast, which was nothing special, but id say overall it was great value for money.

Nettes Hotel mit Super Lage aber mit mehreren kleinen Mängeln.
Pros:

Super Lage am Meer. Sehr schöner Sandstrand. Zimmer sind guter Standart.

Cons:

Das Abendessen (Buffet) ist verbesserungswürdig. Nur kleine Auswahl und nicht sehr gut. Die gesamte Anlage könnte besser gepflegt sein. Es sind überrall kleineren Reperaturen ausständig.

Pros:

the beach location, air conditioning in the room, the staff were friendly and helpful

Cons:

the room was not clean mattress stained,
shower head rusted,
tiles broken at the back of the toilet,
ants and insects on the ground my feet were bitten badly as I slept despite having mosquito nets,
the room location was a long way away from beach and pool no view as the booking suggested.
We had dinner in the restaurant which was nice at the time but myself and my wife both woke up in the middle of the night with gastro the staff gave us a packet of Imodium which makes me think we are not the first ones to get this.
they provide a menu in the room for room service but there is no phone in the room.
Everything is shut by 11pm.
Extremely overpriced for the quality of the accommodation
