Leaving
On Saturday night very loud music/singing began at 10.10 and finished at 12.50.. No sleep until then.Up early next month to drive all day as I’m a professional driver. Could the music not start and finish earlier as it does in other places I stay?
Perfect location, amazing staff, lovely interioirs, absolutely positive experirnce, highly recomended!
Quite at night great nights sleep and the staff 5 stars
Food/friendlyness of staff/ Xmas decor and the stables out back
Room small and bathroom needs upgrading
Everything quite good. However i had a burger and fries in the bar area on my last night there after 8 nights.i also ordered a coke and i got a glass of coke with some ice that was 3 quarters full.when i had finished the drink the waitress came by and asked if everything was okay .I nodded agreeably but did not get topped up .I then went to the bar and asked the barman to refill my drink and then he made a drama out of getting a tiny little glass coke bottle .some ice cubes and the same glass and glancing at me as if I was some sort of a chancer. I was then double charged at pay time 6.60 for coke .I had planned on laving a cash tip for the waitress but did not after being charged in this manner.Bear in mTheind that that you can get free refills of coke or any other soft drink in most countries gratis sometimes up to 20 or even 32 ounce. The Barguy was the same chap who had checked me in one week earlier and whom I had possibly prevented from incurring a serious injury or worse when I reminded him that his shoe laces were undone as he was about to dart down the stairs. To recap people from most countries expect to be charged for soft drinks but not for a top up especially if the are having a meal also or even if they are not having a meal.My suggestion is to buy a large bottle of coke or thre in threebin tesco or aldi, keep it under the bar and use this for top ups.
