Gorgeous, cosy, historic inn to stay in after some long days in the hills.
Pros:

Gorgeous, historic and unique property. Lovely bar area to relax in. We didn't have dinner in the end but the food looked lovely. They had also just finished renovating a 'secret garden' which was gorgeous!

Cons:

Bit dated in places but it's traditional!

Overall it was a fabulous 2 night stay and we would definitely recommend it
Pros:

Good breakfast choices and we loved the charm and character of the hotel. Great location and an easy walk to the village

Cons:

The bed seemed to slope down a little and the shower water pressure wasn't very strong

This is an old Building, (Pub) the room I was given had a separate Bathroom - not en-suite which was not that convenient. the room was comfortable although no heating. The food was good both for the Evening meal & Breakfast.

Mooi en authentiek gebouw
Pros:

Overall lovely stay at Ty Gwyn.
Pros:

Lovely location not far from Betws-y-Coed village, close to lots of trails and walks. Beautiful Fairy Glen waterfall nearby, twenty minute walk. The hotel had a bar and restaurant which is great if you don’t want to walk or drive into the village. Warm and friendly staff, check in was quick and shown directly to your room. The room was nice and spacious with a good shower

Cons:

I slept in the twin bed room and the mattress I slept in could do with changing as I felt the springs, I used an extra duvet to create some padding.
The menu was mostly meat and fish, and found one veggie options, so more veggie options would be nice.
If you book during busy holidays such as Easter, please bear in mind the service is slower in the restaurant.

Pros:

Beautiful hotel, full of history.
Friendly, helpful staff
Lovely large bedroom
Fabulous location

Cons:

No shower (or shower attachment over bath.)

Would have liked to have soya or oat milk at breakfast (i don't have dairy). When asked if any waitress just said no. I bought my own for the stay. It's not a problem, but alternatives are a nice . Wouldn't put me off staying again though.

Pros:

Lovely quirky 16th century building. Loved the big bed and spa bath. Good bar. Location was excellent. Had a lovely evening in the local town betws-y-coed for dinner and sat by the waterfall.

Cons:

Was sad that the really well reviewed restaurant was closed the 2 days we stayed. Parking was a challenge and there wasn't overnight charging but it is being put in place.

Thoroughly recommend. Great location, beautiful old pub with excellent food,
Pros:

Beautiful old pub furnished to highlight its age and character. The highlight was the excellent food, so definitely make sure you have an evening meal. People clearly come from afar to the restaurant so you need to book. Most of the food is locally sourced and some home grown. There's a great range of fish, seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes, beautifully prepared and great value. Breakfast was great too. The location is perfect. You can walk into Betws-y-Coed in 10 mins, and you can get up into the surrounding hills where there are beautiful walks from the pub itself. Snowden is about 30 minutes drive away and there are other mountains around too.

Cons:

Its on a main road and parking was a little difficult but not too much of a problem.

Fine for a short stay.
Pros:

Comfortable room. Lovely bathroom. Comfortable decor throughout.

Cons:

Limited parking. We were unaware that the Restaurant was closed on Tuesday’s when we booked. Disappointing as we had to look elsewhere - after a long journey. Full English Breakfast booked - but no eggs available. Difficult stairs.
