N’hésitez pas à faire un arrêt à cet hôtel magnifique situé sur le bord du Mékong. La vue de votre balcon est incroyable . C’est un endroit vraiment charmant, bien situé et parfait pour se détendre.
Les propriétaires sont des personnes incroyables, toujours très intéressées à offrir des explications, à partager leur connaissance des lieux et à apprendre à connaître les gens qui séjournent chez eux. Leur accueil est chaleureux et sincère.
On sent une réelle passion pour recevoir et aider les visiteurs, ce qui rend l’expérience encore plus agréable.

Location and staff
Getting a little run down, but still very clean and acceptable
Very friendly and helpful owners. I only stayed for one night before getting the boat to laos. The boat operators had left information for me with the owners who were helpful with filling out the immigration forms in advance and getting everyone onto their correct van in the morning. The room was perfectly fine with a nice view over the river from the balcony.

The location overlooking the Mekong River
La vue sur le Mékong et donc le Laos, le grand balcon, la grande chambre, la gentillesse des propriétaires prêts à nous donner toutes sortes d'informations et à nous proposer leurs services pour notre périple.
Le petit déjeuner est très succinct mais si besoin vous avez à proximité des petites gargottes pour vous restaurer. Le lieu est calme et très proche du centre-ville par la piste cyclable qui longe le fleuve.
Séjour de 2 nuits parfaits nous avons beaucoup apprécié cet endroit.
Les murs nous ont semblés peu épais, on entendait les chaises que l'on déplace sur le sol, mais c'était largement supportable.
Nice big rooms, beautiful views at breakfast, and very very good value overall. The couple running Day Waterfront were brilliant, so helpful with details and paperwork regarding the border crossing the following day. They were so warm and welcoming we really had a lovely stay.
The WiFi wasn’t great in the rooms. Mattress was quite hard, but this is relatively common in my experience in Thailand

The hotel has beautiful views of the lake and border, the rooms were spacious. The owners were extremely helpful - made sure to guide us through the border crossing process, without us even asking, and providing the forms we needed to fill (for free).
The owner also gave us some food for the slow boat journey, and waved to the boat from the hotel when we set sail after crossing the border.
The mattresses could be a little better but weren't bad.
Loved our 1 night stay at this friendly hotel before our slow boat to Laos. The owners were super friendly and helpful and it was great chatting with them both as their English was perfect! They also went out of their way to help us retrieve our hammock which dropped from our backpack at the border! The view from our room over the Mekong was beautiful and there are some great restaurants along the waterfront. Would definitely recommend this hotel!
Hosts are incredibly kind and helpful, also allowed us early check in and gave plenty of advice about immigration into Laos, local restaurants, and so on. We had a wonderful view from our bedroom balcony and felt truly relaxed. We would definitely come back again
Facilities a touch basic and the shower didn’t stay very warm - but for the price and friendliness that’s something you can easily get over
