Ahmetaj Guest House

The staff went really out of their way to help us! The owner helped us parking and upgraded us to a bigger room for the same price, given the guesthouse was quite empty. She welcomed us with orange juice and homemade wine. The guesthouse is very clean, the room was amazing with an incredible view on the valley. The breakfast was incredibly abundant, freshly prepared by the owner who gave us delicious food, including fruits recently picked on the trees around the property. She even gave us a bag to pack and bring with us for the day! The guesthouse is 5mins away from all the beautiful parts of Gjirokaster, and the castle can be reached easily as well

Host was so so lovely, helped us park our car and gave us fruit and juice on arrival. Views were insane! Breakfast was great. Very good value for money.

La familia que lleva el hotel es muy amable. El hotel está muy limpio y bien situado. El desayuno con productos típicos.

The loveliest stay in Albania we had! Such a lovely hostess! Very kind and welcoming. We arrived a bit earlier than anticipated and we expected to have to wait to check in but they were so accommodating and made sure we could get our rooms quickly. Very cute stay. Breakfast was also amazing! Such great care and love was put into everything.

Amazing traditional place with breathtaking view. The hosts were very polite and welcoming. Zamira cooked us the best breakfast we’ve ever had. They were very helpful with our luggages as well. I totally recommend this place if you ever visit Gjirokastër!!!

Very nice stay at a family-run place. Fantastic location, just a short walk from the center of all the tourist activity. Helped me park when we arrived which was a huge deal because it's pretty tight up that high on the hill. Huge breakfast and a very kind family. Big room, nice balcony and view.

We had a wonderful experience at Ahmetaj. The cleanliness was top-notch, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
The homemade breakfast was abundant and delicious.
The location was also perfect for exploring. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Ein super Gästehaus: sehr schöne Atmosphäre, ruhig und zentral gelegen, gutes Zimmer, jeden Morgen ein umfangreiches Frühstück mit frischen und selbstgemachten Speisen - und vor allem ist Amira eine super herzliche Gastgeberin, die mich rundum gut versorgt hat

Everything. Location was steps from the Bazaar and plenty of amazing restaurants. Zamira and her husband made us feel so welcome and were unbelievable in their generosity. They drove us to the bus station and helped us with our bags to go to Permet! Couldn’t recommend this stay enough.
