The staff was good.
We were literally robbed there and the owner was at no point supportive. So much better places to go in siargao.
Nothing. This place is not PWD friendly. Stairs does not have a handrail, the bed is so low. The road going to the property is flooded. The swimming pool don’t have handrail and steps
The road leading to the property is flooded and muddy. At Nighttime so dark and no street light. The day we flew in, it was raining hard and they don’t even have umbrella for us to use.
Lovely team, great location and looks pretty from the outside
Incredibly dark as doesn’t get much sun, and often had bugs and lizards falling from the rafters. We had expected to be able to use the pool but that is also not in the sun and surrounded by the other huts so not very easy to hop into and use. The air conditioning unit is directly above the bed which makes for a very drafty night (we got sick twice) and minimal ventilation to the downstairs.

La struttura era carina, su due piani e con la possibilità di lavanderia. Hai la possibilità di affittare direttamente da loro lo scooter. Tess era sempre molto disponibile soprattutto telefonicamente. Ven accogliente e disponibile.
Partiamo dal bagno. Il WC non scaricava ed era necessario utilizzare una bacinella d’acqua per aiutare il flusso. La doccia era scoperta, per cui tutto il bagno rischiava ogni volta di bagnarsi e quindi di sporcarsi. Non è prevista una pulizia giornaliera. Non essendo direttamente sulla strada, in caso di pioggia si fa molta difficoltà a raggiungere a piedi la struttura (sono caduto un paio di volte nel fango). In generale, ciò che si vede in foto non rispecchia lo stato effettivo della struttura. Prezzo giusto se avesse quanto meno il minimo indispensabile per stare puliti e avere comfort primari.
The place is beautiful! It’s very cozy, and we felt at home. The pool is cute, and the place is very quiet and tidy. Of course the manager was very nice. And she was always proposing to help us for anything. Thank you so much !
Not enough place to hang the towel or the clothes
The Good
- Air conditioning in the bedrooms is effective and keeps them cool.
- Host offers moped rental (additional cost).
- Several small convenience stores and restaurants nearby.
- A beach is accessible within a 12‑minute walk.
The Not So Good
-The host is onsite seemingly at all times. She will speak sometimes but not always. Presence is known.
- The living area is open to the elements and has no air conditioning.
- No microwave; only a gas stovetop and a mini fridge.
- Bathroom windows do not close, so insects/critters can enter while using the facilities.
- Property is in a jungle‑like area: expect lizards, roaches, mosquitos and other insects, including in the bedrooms.
- Remote from the main tourist area — about a 45‑minute walk (or a short moped ride) to bars and major restaurants.
- Access path is unpaved, often dirt/muddy; luggage cannot be rolled and must be carried.
- Neighbouring private homes are close; noise/activities from neighbors may be audible (I heard what sounded like a literal pig being slaughtered (seriously) as well as karaoke
- The setting feels very rural—more like camping than a conventional stay.
- There are multiple units (around four) sharing the same pool and facing each other; vegetation provides some privacy but you may still be exposed to other guests.
Overall
- Suitable if you want a rustic, jungle‑style stay and don’t mind insects, limited indoor living space, and unpaved access. Not recommended if you prefer modern comforts, sealed bathrooms, easy luggage access, quiet surroundings, or a central location.
It was pretty quiet and away from all the noise. The accommodation was different and was great for a couple. Also Tess and Ben who manage and service the accommodation were amazing and always willing to help.
Nothing really
Bathroom for the two bedroom is on a separate floor which is a bit inconvenient.
Very close to quality cafes and restaurants, a nice pool to cool off, and walking distance to the boats where you can access the surf breaks at Rock Island and Stimpys

The villa is part of a complex of four villas with a pool in the middle. The trees on the property helped to make the open-plan villa feel more private. The villa itself was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. As it is not located on the main road, it was quiet at night, which cannot be said for during the day, as it seems as though the whole island is undergoing construction. Restaurants and Cafes are nearby.
We stayed for 2.5 weeks and loved it!
The place is very beautiful! And the bed was amazingly comfortable—we slept so well.
The property is also near to all establishments and Cloud9. You can just rent a motorbike or ride the tuktuk/tricycle to go around.
Early check in and late checkout is possible which we really appreciated. Ben and Ate Tess were also kind and helpful! We’ll definitely be back again if ever we visit Siargao next time!
