Excellent night stop with dinner.
Pros:

From the moment we arrived to our departure we were warmly received. Friendly team and beautiful and peaceful setting.

Cons:

Not your fault but the sound of the traffic sometimes was loud and disturbing.

Idealic stay
Pros:

Modern room very clean & comfortable. Great idea of full length mirror in wardrobe !
Will make use of the restaurant and lovely views when we return !

Cons:

1)Cooking smells from
Kitchen below rooms
2) No corner shelf positioned inside show for soap, gel etc
3) need some sort of rubber tread on wooden decked steps as slippery when wet

Hanging cupboard light hard to turn off. Tap too big so water inclined to splash out of the basin.

Nice friendly people excellent food in the evening, down side no breakfast available
Pros:

Work well for us as we had a friend staying there and we were visiting our daughter who lived very close

We won't be returning, sadly.
Cons:

We can't review the facilities because the pub was closed the entire time we were there. So no food or drink available. Which totally negates the reason for staying in a pub. Which meant we had to get taxis to go out in the evenings.
The location was in the middle of nowhere, yet right on a busy road, so we were awake from 5am because of the noise.
The room itself was fine, but access is via a dilapidated wooden staircase and deck, totally exposed to the weather, so wet and potentially slippery.

Lovely views, beautiful room and bar/ restaurant
Pros:

Lovely room, clean, warm

Cons:

Limited menu , whilst food was good the choices were limited for us and quite pricey. Just an A La Carte menu which there was no chicken or pasta dishes or anything more simple. Silly thing but mirror in bedroom was too high to be able to sit and do hair/ make up. Pub is quite isolated although along a.main road and very quiet.

Great room
Pros:

A great location for a couple of days visiting national trust properties.
Warm and welcoming.
Lovely room with a large clean shower room. Huge shower and even more importantly large bath towels.
Enjoyed an evening drink outside with superb views over the weald.
A great meal in the pub. Well cooked and presented, definitely 'restaurant ' not 'pub'.

Clean, comfortable with fresh, modern decor and outfitting. The food in the restaurant was excellent. A very enjoyable dinner. Nice, though somewhat remote location, with great views
