Nostalgie pur
Pros:

Eine ehemalige Villa zum Hotel umgebaut. Das ganze Haus ist voll von liegevoll zusammengestellten Antiquitäten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und immer bereit zu helfen. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend.

Tolle Unterkunft nur leider laut aufgrund der Züge
Pros:

Die Villa erinnert an Harry Potter, außen und innen. Eine tolle Erfahrung dort zu übernachten. Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig.

Cons:

Leider liegt die Villa direkt an einer viel befahrenen Bahnlinie-im 30 Sekunden Takt Züge. Auch nachts - keine Chance das Fenster offen zu lassen.

Perfect stop over on my way to Italy
Pros:

Have stayed before and always enjoy the people and food here. They are very friendly and helpful and the restaurant is not only doing good food but also at a fair price.

Cons:

No AC in the room and the heatwave was not over so you had a fan and I just opened the window to draw in cooler air.

Wir konnten im Hotel kurz in eine andere Zeit eintauchen. Es erinnerte von der Ausstattung her an ein altes Herrenhaus. Sehr gutes und umfangreiches Frühstück. Das Personal ist freundlich und unkompliziert.

Overall, we had a wonderful and memorable stay and would be delighted to return in the future.
Pros:

The hotel kindly upgraded us to a spacious suite with two separate rooms, making our stay exceptionally comfortable. The elegant antique furnishings and historic ambience made us feel as though we were staying in a charming old castle. Every member of the staff was genuinely warm, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. The breakfast was outstanding, offering an impressive variety of fresh and delicious options. We especially appreciated the thoughtful consideration shown towards our daughter, with suitable breakfast choices prepared for her, which made our family feel truly valued.

Cons:

One minor disappointment was the absence of air conditioning, which made it rather difficult to sleep comfortably during the warm weather. In addition, the wooden flooring creaked quite noticeably whenever we walked, which was particularly noticeable during the night.

La camera era molto spaziosa ma passavano continuamente treni rumorosissimi a meno di 100 metri. La cena buona ma purtroppo con scelte obbligate, pare avessero terminato quanto proponeva il menu?

Beautiful place
Pros:

It was absolutely beautiful. It is an old home converted into a hotel. There are lots of antiques as it was once owned by an antique collector. We stayed in a room with 4 adults and it worked well for a few nights stay. The room was very spacious and comfortable for us all. And the bathroom was beautiful and huge! We had a balcony which was perfect to sit in the morning sun. The staff were very lovely and helpful. The breakfast was great, lots of food and table service! We loved our stay.

Cons:

It was a bit noisy at night because it overlooks the train line and we needed to have the door open to keep cool.
And also unfortunately our toilet seat had been previously broken in half but instead of replacing it, it was only taped up with white tape.

Übdernachten in nostalgischer Stadtvilla
Pros:

Ein Hotel, nostalgisch wie man es kaum noch findet. Es erinnert an einen englischen Landsitz, einschließlich Bar und Speisezimmer. Ein historisches Haus mit dazu passendem Mobiliar, aber allem, was man auch an modernen Einrichtungen braucht wie Bad mit Dusche. Umfangreiches Frühstück, am Tisch serviert. Freundliche Gastgeber. Die Altstadt ist über eine Fußgängerbrücke über die Bahn in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen.

A very enjoyable stay.
Pros:

Park Villa is in easy walking distance from Schaffhausen town centre and transport hub (rail / bus / boat. Rooms are clean and decorated in unusual style which complements the gothic style architecture of the building. Max and the team are extremely hospitable, whilst the food and drink options are also good and the shady garden very welcome in the peak of a heatwave.

Cons:

The lack of air conditioning can be a drawback in extremely hot weather, though fans are provided and the appropriate windows can be shuttered to suit your preference.
