Pros:

Chatky v příjemně vzrostlé zahradě, velká příjemná a vkusná restaurace s výbornou kuchyní. Majitel nám nabídl při rezervaci a domluvil 3 hodinový výlet lodí po řece ještě v den příjezdu odpoledne , kde jme viděli spousty vodních pátků vč. Kolpíků růžových , ledňáčků, desítek aligátorů, sladkovodních želv , leguánů na stromech okolo řeky a 2 skupiny hlučných vřešťanů.

A wonderful hotel in a beautiful location on the edge of a seasonal lagoon. The host was very friendly, attentive, and helpful, and arranged a private boat tour that fully met my expectations. The restaurant was very good with an Italian touch. Definitely one of the best stays in Cano Negro.

Cons:

The drive from the nearest paved road to Cano Negro is quite exhausting. It’s no problem even in a regular car, but you should be prepared for a slow and bumpy ride.

Ein wunderbares Ambiente. Eine ruhige und entspannte Atmosphäre. Am Abend erlebten wir die Spideraffen in den Bäumen der Anlage.
Empfehlenswert ist die Bootstour um verschiedene Tiere in ihrem Habitat zu erleben.

Superbe adresse
Pros:

Nous avons adoré découvrir le petit village caché de Caño Negro dans l’hôtel de Campo .

Havre de paix dans la lagune avec piscine !

Andrea est un super guide et très attentionné. Il a toujours la solution.

Mention spéciale pour la qualité de la cuisine locale ultra fraîche et en direct de la ferme. Le petit déjeuner est excellent.

luogo incantevole immerso nella natura e dotato di ogni comfort. il ristorante annesso e' eccellente e il proprietario Andrea, e' una persona molto gentile e disponibile. consiglio di fare i tour direttamente con lui perche' la sua passione e' davvero coinvolgente. e' una guida molto preparata e un ottimo fotografo che da' anche utili consigli per poter scattare delle bellissime foto. tutto perfetto!

Tolles Restaurant mit italienischer Küche.

Pros:

Sehr familiär geführtes Hotel nahe dem Feuchtgebiet. Ich würde auf jeden Fall die Kombo aus Übernachtung, Abendessen und Safari empfehlen. Das Dinner war sehr lecker und für die Morgensafari haben wir ein eigenes Boot mit engagiertem Guide bekommen.

Cons:

Die Anreise von Westen (Katira) war wirklich kein Vergnügen (gute Stunde über sehr holprige Schotterpiste).

Cons:

Lots of mosquitos and no-see-ums but that's just Costa Rica! Wear bug spray if they like you and you'll be okay.

Friendly Costa Rican Hospitality with warm, well cleaned, comfortable accommodations.
Pros:

My purpose was to photograph two species of birds, the jabiru and the Roseatte Spoonbill. Campo Hotel De Campo was perfectly located near the boat that was used by Chambita, my independent guide. Andres the owner, manager was hospitable in all areas. During dinner he mingled with all guests. Patricia and her son Bruno were welcoming, helpful and truly accommodating. I truly felt like I was experiencing true Costa Rica hospitality not a made for tourist place.

Cons:

Purrujas, a small no-se-um biting insects, attacked me while I was sleeping.
There is no warning, no particular reason but the bite leaves red welts, itches
and can only be soothed with a local ointment called Alegel, available in pharmacies. Hotel might issue some warning and advise to use some form of
insect repellent. Or provide an insect coil for the room.

Excellent séjour
Pros:

Hôtel très bien placé au bord de la lagune, très propre, chambre et piscine nettoyées tous les jours. Personnel très gentil,
Andrea, photographe et fils du patron, nous a conduit tôt le matin pour 2 balades privatives en bateau de 4 h chacune et plaçait son bateau de telle sorte que nous puissions prendre la photo la meilleure possible.
Très bon petit déjeuner et dîner dans une grande salle de restaurant avec notamment de grandes et belles tables en bois de cenizaro.
Un jardin où l’on a pu observer des singes araignées, 2 trogons et autres oiseaux mais il faut les chercher. 😀
Attention moustiques.

Pros:

Cano Negro is a very small place so there isn't a lot there. We came for the bird watching and it was amazing. Hotel de Campo was a great place to stay and the owner and staff were super nice. The food was first rate for both dinner and breakfast (served late for everyone coming back from birding tours). I loved the grounds, the wildlife was fantastic (we saw monkeys, opossum, birds, caiman etc.). I would highly recommend for anyone looking to visit Cano Negro.

Nous avons fait une merveilleuse promenade ornithologique en bateau. Nous avons vu de nombreux oiseaux magnifiques et des singes qui ont fait leur show : exceptionnel !
