Small size of shower.

There were some noisy neighbours- rooms aren’t overly soundproof.
Parking isn’t a lot- but managed to get a good space.

Small Shower and Lift but didn't affect my stay.

Staff were quite rude, got 3 noise complaints at 8.30pm, weren’t even being loud were just sat in the room chatting with a bit of music on. Also got into the room and the curtain was hanging off the wall

Room was too hot as a radiator under the main window was on all the time, could not turn it off due to missing valve adjuster and thermostat. Windows had to be left open to cool the room down. The room tv's picture quality could not be adjusted to it make more pleasing to watch, it's screen looked damaged as there were colour lines across the screen. The tv sound could not be adjusted, nearly all the of the tv's remote functions were disabled. The rooms shower, very poor, it worked ok but it's size was too small, only roughly 18 inches square, the shower doors only opened around 12 inches making entering and exiting very difficult. We visited the bar around 8.30pm as we felt a bit hungry, the menu items looked fine, we ordered Chicken wings, the "chef" had to be called by the guy on reception, to "prepare " the food. Some time later, 6 or 7 very cremated wings arrived, not pleasant but were eaten because we were hungry.

Nothing to not like

We stayed here from 28 February to 1 March and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.

On arrival, I was told to use the lift with my luggage. The lift then broke, the door wouldn’t open, and when I asked staff what to do, I was simply told in one word it was “broken” before the staff member walked away to assist other guests. I was left to carry my suitcase and bag up three flights of stairs without assistance.

The shower in our room was scalding hot, with extremely poor water pressure. It was genuinely uncomfortable to use.

On Saturday morning, the fire alarm went off three times between approximately 5:55am and 6:10am with no explanation or apology given to guests.

The mattress was extremely hard and the pillows were very poor quality — both my partner and I have had significant back pain since returning home. There was also only one mug provided in a room booked for two people.

Overall, the hotel feels very run down and did not meet basic expectations for comfort or customer service. What was meant to be an exciting weekend away left us exhausted and disappointed.

We have contacted management directly regarding this stay. Still awaiting a response.
