Hotel was really great. Rajat was friendly and professional. We recommend this hotel to everyone
Clean room and friendly staff
All was fine
I liked the proximity to the centre
The friendliness off the staff
The replenishment at breakfast
No beer on draft,
The cost of parking not included when booking made
The lift is claustrophobic
The shower was a farce
The quality of the sausages
The leaflet stating there was a pool when there wasn't one
The staff members are awesome. Really love the place
Clean , very good staff members
Cheaper price
Car parking charges
Location is fairly 25 min walk to town.
Minute lift, cannot fit in two people with luggage.
Very small bathroom.
Extremely small shower, never seen anything like it, Very difficult to use.
Difficult to walk around bed, so much clutter.
Only two pillows available for double bed.
External/kitchen noises (extractor fan ?) for second half of night.
£10 parking charge.
Sullen staff.
Will not return.
From the outside the property looked nice. The staff on reception were friendly.
The hotel does not have a bar that functions beyond 9 pm.
When we asked about food, we were told by a member of staff that they weren’t serving food. After questioning the staff member, they told us that they wouldn’t recommend the food as it is microwaved and customers had complained!
The bed in the room was uncomfortable. I gave it two nights out of the four we had booked but sadly had to check out. The staff told me that I would not get a discount for checking out early. I am yet to hear from the general manager about a refund for the nights that I didn’t stay.
The shower is dangerous. The shower screen is too small to get in and out of the shower properly. This ruins your enjoyment of having a shower. I can see somebody slipping and having an accident trying to get out of the shower.
The property is very dated and in need of modernisation I was very disappointed, especially that Radison had put their name to this.
I really like that Park Inn by Radisson is in such a good location. It’s within walking distance of Bournemouth city centre and the beach, while still being in a peaceful and quiet area. It feels like a great balance between convenience and relaxation.
I would like to express my disappointment with the behaviour and conduct of your Manager, Rajat. The message he sent me after my check-out was quite offensive and, in my opinion, not appropriate for a hospitality manager addressing a regular guest.
What I found particularly concerning was that I was accused of an alleged incident that never happened, apparently without first confirming the facts with the staff involved. His tone went far beyond simply reminding me of the hotel’s rules; I found it unnecessarily threatening, confrontational, and very uncomfortable.
I am not sure whether Rajat is a new manager, as I have never had the opportunity to meet or speak with him during my previous stays. In contrast, my experiences with the junior staff and reception team have consistently been very positive. They have always been polite, humble, helpful, and professional.
Unfortunately, in this instance, I felt that the junior staff demonstrated considerably more professionalism and courtesy than the hotel manager himself. I believe Rajat needs to seriously reconsider and neutralise his tone and approach when communicating with guests, particularly regular guests who have repeatedly chosen to stay at your hotel.
It also makes me concerned about how he may communicate with his own colleagues and staff. If this is the way he chooses to speak to a guest, particularly a regular guest, I would be worried about the manner in which he conducts himself with members of his own team. A manager in hospitality should set the standard for professionalism, respect, and calm communication.
I am raising this because I genuinely value my previous experiences at the hotel and have always found the reception and junior staff to be very welcoming. However, this interaction has left me extremely disappointed.
Nothing
Very tired hotel, breakfast was poor, bath towels were tiny, shower was so small it was virtually impossible to get in and out of, no 2nd pillows were provided and tea tray was not replenished for our 2nd day. Car park charge of £10 per day was excessive and £40 refundable deposit was quite insulting.
Quiet.
