Pros:

Beautiful quiet location quaint property and beautiful views staff really friendly and attentive the breakfast was delicious and piping hot would definitely return to this hotel nothing was to much trouble

Pros:

The manager and chef were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the breakfast was nice. Great location - right near Beatrix Potter's estate, but also quiet and away from the busy tourist towns.

Cons:

I booked a lake view room, which was barely viewable because of a large tree in the way.

Pros:

Location was perfect, right next door to Hilltop. David picked us up from the ferry at the bottom of the hill as we had missed last bus. Much appreiciated!

Cons:

The room was mysteriously v cold. Perhaps gets no sun during the day?

Perfect stay at Sawrey House
Pros:

I had a great solo stay at Sawrey House. The place is beautiful, peaceful, and very comfortable.

David is a fantastic host—kind, welcoming, and very accommodating.

I truly enjoyed my time here and would love to come back. Highly recommended!
