“It is our continuous endeavor to offer our guests the best of our product and services. Starting from 28th January 2024 till 15th April 2024 our hotel Gateway Chikmagalur IHCL SeleQtions will be undergoing Swimming Pool renovation. During this period the hotel will be operating with no Swimming Pool facility. We assure you that we will take all necessary measures to minimize any inconveniences that may be caused to our guests during this phase of renovation. We sincerely regret for any inconvenience that may still be caused due to this upgradation. Thank you for your support, cooperation and understanding."

Please note that for security purpose all Indian guests are required to present a valid photo ID proof (Voter's ID, Driving License, Aadhar Card, any other ID with address approved by the Government of India. A Pan Card is not acceptable). All international guests are required to present a valid passport and visa. For Indian guests, cash settlements of INR 25000 and above will require a pan card copy during check out.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Awesome and recommend
Pros:

The property was clean, well maintained and exactly what was in the website.

I stayed here with my parents and family. The staff were extremely kind, friendly and helpful. Mr Sudheesh and his team across the whole property ensured smooth and happy guest stay.

They were able to accommodate some of my parents food requests they were very happy.

Will definitely recommend stay here and will visit again.

Great staff. Very helpful. Always ready to understand needs and provide assistance.

Cons:

Half board was included in the price. Dinner service could have been a little better.

The bed in the room is queen size. For a family traveling with small kids, bed size is insufficient for the price paid. We had to pay extra for a rollaway bed. This is something that the property needs to work on. The size of the room is big enough that they can accommodate a king size bed

Decent stay, can provide better for the cost they charge
Pros:

Rooms were spacious, and clean. It's a decent property for a family to stay. The staff is extremely polite and helpful.

Cons:

The activities available are not upto the mark. The cycles were in bad shape, dinners were good but breakfast can be a little better. Quality of a couple of dishes wasn't great. For the money the hotel charges per day is way more than what is provided. Bathroom showers were complex to operate. The hotel can be better in terms of amenities and provide value to the money customers pay for the stay.

Exceptional property and wonderful hospitality
Pros:

My daughter's third birthday celebration was exceptional. From the room's décor to the special request of Chinese cuisine and the staff's musical performance, every detail contributed to a memorable event. While the venue's inherent beauty is noteworthy, the exceptional staff truly elevated the experience.
