Easy going vibe. Great staff. Wonderful location
They had run out of many of the dishes.
Accueil chaleureux et personnel à l’écoute.
La nourriture est excellente, le cadre très agréable.
L’isolement entre les chambres pourrait être plus efficace
Excellent
Staff were excellent, breakfast was excellent but should have been included for the price paid for the room. Food was generally very good, and reasonably priced for the quality.
The room was too small for the price paid - there was nowhere to put a case so we just had to keep tripping over it. The bathroom had a great shower, but there was nowhere to put personal toiletries as it was very small. Unusually for Scotland, it was very warm, but the hotel heating was on and one window was jammed shut, the other had a broken latch, so could not be left open, so the room was too hot. A fan could have been provided, as found in every other hotel room on our Scotland trip. For the price paid, breakfast should have been included (or up to eg £15 credit per person for breakfast items bought). Wasps were a menace, even inside the hotel, perhaps fly screen doors could be used.
Food is suoerb, both from the main menu and breakfast
Bathroom could have been a little cleaner
I loved the location. We really felt like we were out in the middle of nowhere yet the property was so cosy and inviting. The rooms were decorated to a high standard and absolutely spotless.
Great atmosphere, warm and welcoming staff and extremely dog friendly. Meal was also very good.
