Pros:

Owner was very helpful and attentive. Made to feel at home straight away. Amazing Chinese meal and glorious views from the garden. Would definitely stay again.

Cons:

Didn't like the fact that we only booked one night whilst travelling elsewhere, wish we'd stayed longer

A beautiful place to stay— don’t hesitate to book!
Pros:

Beautiful old building in a stunning mountainous landscape! The host went above and beyond at every turn; so welcoming and generous. The Chinese restaurant was delicious, a great selection at the bar, and a lovely lounge downstairs with a grand piano. The room itself was spacious, well kitted out, and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Very enjoyable stay in a beautiful hotel in tranquil setting
Pros:

We were simply breaking a long car journey. We ere amazed and delighted when we arrived at the Buckly Arms. It is like a grand country house of earlier times, with high ceilings, beautiful furniture,
and many objects of interest. Our bedroom was a good size and very comfortable and the bathroom large and well-equipped. The owners/staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a really good Chinese meal that evening. The setting is beautiful and tranquil.

Pros:

Friendly helpful could not do enough to please us,the place was spotless,beds so so comfortable,we have been looking for an hotel like this for years. The food was supurb drinks very reasonable can’t wait to go back.

better than eny expectations i had. i stay ion alot of places and this is by far the best

way above what i was expecting

Cons:

i dont think they could of done anything more fro us. i whish id have known that it has chinese food on site becuse i would not of pre booked a meal else where but i fear this may have been me not researching the venue well enough

Work stay.
Pros:

Quiet and peaceful. View from bedroom was stunning. Chinese meal was tasty too. Large car park across the road. Bed was very comfartable. Would stay here again.

Cons:

There was a decanter and 2 glasses in the room . Decanter full of water , but when I went to pour water in to one of the glasses it was half full of water already. This was the only negative point everything else was good.
