Recommended for a theatre visit especially if you value the convenient location.
Pros:

Next-door location for the theatre (we were staying there specifically to see "Ottilie" - the theatre and hotel are part of a big old building complex). Further excellent Billy-Joelesque entertainment later in the piano bar. Parking opposite the site was fine, and a ten-minute walk into town. Cirencester is great to wander around, especially on Charter Market days, and a good base for exploring local Cotswold sites. The key attraction for us is the brilliant Barn Theatre, which stages runs of a few high-quality productions per year, all worth seeing.

Cons:

There were some basic problems with the room given but fortunately the staff were very helpful and able to move us. Otherwise we would not have been happy with the quality. Price was on the high side but it was convenient for the theatre, especially in the rain! Next time we visit Cirencester's splendid theatre and market we might look for a less costly stay - unless the piano guy was in the bar....

Disappointing, didn’t warrant the score on Booking.com.
Pros:

Well located and easy to find. Room comfortable, if a little dark. Staff generally friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Cleanliness of room was superficial, shelves and skirtings dusty and left marks on clothes. Breakfast menu limited - cereals, fresh fruit, toast not offered. Ordered scrambled eggs which arrived half cooked and inedible. Dining room dark and gloomy.

Zeer geslaagde overnachting in een prachtig hotel.
Pros:

Food, staff and decor - all of a high standard
Pros:

It’s been decorated beautifully. All finishings to a high standard. Exactly what you’d hope for from a hotel that’s classed as ‘boutique’

Cons:

We only stayed for one night and couldn’t find a fault. We stayed on an exceptionally hot night so worth nothing it doesn’t have air conditioning but the room did have a Dyson fan in it which helped

Pros:

Comfy beds

Cons:

I was disappointed with the breakfast arrangements. The staff gave the impression that it was a hardship to serve us. We ordered a cooked breakfast and a coffee which was nice but didn't have access to anything else like fruit, cereals, toast, juice, a second coffee etc. We were also sat in a darkened room. Not the kind of relaxing leisurely breakfast I was hoping for on a weekend away.

is a great hub for the Cotswolds, and Ingleside House is as good as it gets in Cirencest
Pros:

Such a wonderfully and intriguing building - steps up and down and up again! The staff was wonderful and very helpful, especially the young lady who worked most weekday mornings - I hate that I never caught her name. Kudos to her, though.

Cons:

Nothing you can do about it, but the room was very warm and the lighting is really very poor. No matter where you stand you are standing in your own shadow. Part of the charm of a historic building, I guess ;)

Very disappointing, I expect basic standards of cleanliness and service for the money.
Pros:

Location, comfort

Cons:

Room wasn’t clean, cobwebs, dusty. Asked for more tea bags which were delivered but staff didn’t take used cups away. Coffee machine not filled with water and not possible to fill from tap. General areas not vacuumed.

Beautiful, modern, comfortable and perfectly situated.
Pros:

We loved everything, especially the charming and smiley multi talented Olivia on the front desk. She was friendly, efficient, helpful and seemed to be everywhere doing everything, with charm and grace.
The hotel is modern but stylish, lots of little details (mini milk in the fridge for morning tea, a personalised welcome note in the room, a double sided magnifying mirror for make up…) and the room and bed was so comfortable. Great shower, super breakfast.

Cons:

Nothing
