Staff,location, room space and facilities. All staff went out of their way to make our stay a great experience

Pros:

Wunderschöne Lage direkt am Elbufer mit einem tollen Garten. Das Personal an der Rezeption war unglaublich freundlich, und auch der Service im Restaurant war sehr gut.
Das Frühstück war einfach fantastisch und sehr stimmungsvoll, lecker und abwechslungsreich. Auch der Restaurantbereich ist sehr schön gestaltet.
Die Sauna ist ebenfalls angenehm und gut, und man kann sie bequem mit dem Aufzug erreichen.

Cons:

Am Abend entschieden wir uns, ins Restaurant zu gehen. Ich hatte Geburtstag, und wir wollten ihn in ruhiger Atmosphäre feiern.
Der Restaurantbereich selbst ist sehr schön, hell und großzügig gestaltet. Die Küche war jedoch leider enttäuschend. Die Auswahl war eher klein, und einige Gerichte waren gar nicht verfügbar.
Da ich keinen Alkohol trinke, bestellte ich eine hausgemachte Limonade mit Lavendel und Pfirsich. Das war leider eine komplette Enttäuschung: Ich bekam ein Glas mit Wasser, Eis und Pfirsichsirup. Das war alles. Kein Obst, keine Kräuter, kein Hauch von Lavendel. Einen schlechteren Drink habe ich selten probiert.
Das bestellte Gericht war recht lecker, allerdings hatte ich auch hier deutlich höhere Erwartungen.
Das Zimmer war geräumig und sehr sauber. Allerdings funktionierte die Klimaanlage nicht, und irgendwann kam einfach kein warmes Wasser mehr aus dem Wasserhahn. Das entspricht leider nicht den Erwartungen.

Pros:

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit 2 Fenstern. Das war für die tropischen Nächte sehr gut. Ein Ventilator wurde zur Verfügung gestellt. Es ist ein Alt ehrwürdiges Gebäude.

Die Lage war fantastisch, direkt an der Elbe, auf dem Hotelplatz egab es ein schöner Garten und ein kleines Pool mit Liegen im Schatten der Bäume. Frühstück war hervorragend, das Restaurant abends konnten wir leider nicht besuchen. Wegen der Hitze fanden wir es unmöglich im Wintergarten unter der Glaskuppel zu sitzen und draußen gab es leider nicht genug Plätze für alle. Trotzdem es ist ein sehr schönes Hotel und hat uns während der unglaublichen Hitze gerettet. Ich würde es weiterempfehlen.

Schöner Kurzurlaub mit tollen Wanderungen, gutem Essen und netter Atmosphäre

Sehr schön mit kleinen Mängeln
Pros:

Genialer Rezeptionist (David), der seinen Job wirklich lebt und soweit wie möglich alle Wünsche seiner Gäste erfüllt. Er ist definitiv gemacht für seine Arbeit. Super Lage an der Elbe in grossem schönen Park. Sehr guter abschliessbarer Fahrradraum. Toller Elbblick aus dem Zimmer. Frühstück hatte für vegane Personen Hafermilch und Margarine.

Cons:

Für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie und in dieser guten Zimmerkategorie hätte ich eigentlich ein klimatisiertes Zimmer erwartet, oder allermindestens einen Ventilator. Auch ein Kühlschrank fehlt. Bei der aktuellen Hitze mühsam ohne. Zum Glück war unser Zimmer mit Elbblick nie der direkten Sonneneinstrahlung ausgesetzt, trotzdem wurde es heiss im Zimmer. Speisekarte ohne deklarierte vegane Optionen, daher sind wir ins Restaurant Tilia essen gegangen. Kann aber schon sein, dass es auf Nachfrage auch im hoteleigenen Restaurant vegane Gerichte gäbe, ich habe nicht nachgefragt.

Ein rundum gelungenes anlassbezogenes Wochenende.
Pros:

Restaurant, Frühstück top.
Der Service im Restaurant ist top. Da wir unseren 40. Hochzeitstag hatten wurde auf Bestellung alles sehr gut vorbereitet.

Cons:

Dusche in der Wanne für ältere Menschen sowie jene mit Handicap nicht nutzbar. An Schlaf war nicht zu denken, da in unmittelbarer Nähe Bahnverbindungen. Alle Gäste sollten sich an die Hausordnung halten und nicht nach 22:00 Uhr das Freibad benutzen.

Máme rádi tenhle hotel.

Zjistili jsme však, že k hotelovemu bazénu v zahradě hotelu chodí také neubytování hosté, asi obyvatelé Bad Schandau.
