Booking.com You ripped me off. This poor hotel has been closed for months because of the Hurricane and y’all are still booking them. Shame on you. You should underwrite their rebuilding efforts. My transaction is still in dispute with you. Shame on Booking.
It’s closed
nothing
why are you renting out rooms for a inn that was closed due to storm damage ? Please refund my $222.00 and stop renting this property
This motel is permanently closed dye to damage from hurricane Helene in 2024. Booking.com should never have allowed me the option to book a room at a non existent motel. I had to find accommodations at their sister hotel which luckily had a room as it was a busy weekend in Maggie Valley NC. I am currently awaiting the sister hotel to contact Booking.com for a refund of my money.
We got to the motel to find that it has been closed since last fall. Why would you have it listed?
We didn’t get to stay there! The hurricane helene washed the bridge out and all the beds and furniture was out in the yard!
No breakfast

Quite
this is our second stay here and both experiences were great.
everything was great
We LOVED the community kitchen area and porch. Sitting by the water visiting with our friends was great.
Everything! This place is amazing!!! The staff is super great and treat you like family!
Not a single complaint!
Location good
No staff, sketchy people on property
The location and privacy. The stream was very nice.
Not enough power outlet. None in the bathroom where women do hair.
Beds were comfortable. There was a brook on property.
An air conditioning unit in a room next door was soo loud, it was shaking our wall and the bed frames. And it never stopped, not even for a minute, it was on all night long! And we apparently got the last available room due to a motorcycle convention. We were just passing by. The WiFi didn’t reach our room at all. Moreover, the entire town had such poor internet that we couldn’t plan our next trip day. We had to go to another hotel, sit in their lobby to use their WiFi. Again , due to the convention all hotel rooms were overpriced or not available. We overpaid by about $100 for the room. The bathroom needs at least a coat of paint, it looks awful, not just old, it looks used up and abused. There used to be a mirror on the door, I guess, because only the nails remained. There used to be something on the wall of the bathroom, but only a trace of thick layer of glue remained. A cover of the windows on the entry door was a piece of foil. Towels had orange dots on them. Shower head was small and plastic, pretty bad water pressure. We moved the nightstand when checking the beds and mattresses, there was trash behind the nightstand and the beds. Not even talking about the hair and other nasty things. There is a separate dining room with a porch. It could’ve been nice. But there was no AC in it, and got pretty humid during rain. Porch had ash trays all around, and for a non-smoker, I couldn’t even sit there for 5 minutes to enjoy the view of the brook. All ash trays were full and stunk pretty bad. The property had good reviews, I guess you have to be the type to enjoy it. We couldn’t. The AC shaking the wall and beds just killed it for us. It was so bad the entire night. Again, a nice outside area, but not the property itself.
No toilet paper, TV did not work
Clean and comfortable. Nice to sit by the creek and feed the ducks
Couldn't figure out the tv but wasn't really there long enough to watch anyway
Breakfast was not included. Had breakfast at Country Vitals. Excellent food, service and value
Light outside our front door was on all night. Need to cover the door, no place for setting bags, get a folding stand.
