Familiär und herzlich
Pros:

Das Hotel "Zum Engel" ist ein Familienbetrieb mit viel Herz und Charme. Ich habe mich rundherum wohlgefühlt. Das Frühstück ist "kontinental" - ein solider Start in den Tag. Ich würde jederzeit wieder hier einkehren. Für meine Ausflugspläne lag das Hotel in Pfaffenweiler mit seiner Nähe zu Freiburg, Weil am Rhein, Basel, Colmar, Sankt Blasien usw. günstig. Das Pfaffenweiler Weinhaus in der Nähe ist für Weinliebhaber einen Besuch wert.

Cons:

Krankheitsbedingt ist das hauseigene Restaurant aktuell leider geschlossen. Aber: eine Strauße (die bis zum 9.11.25 noch offen ist) und ein Restaurant mit regionalen Produkten in Pfaffenweiler (Reblandklause) bieten fußläufig erreichbar Möglichkeiten für's Abendessen in der Nähe.

Tranquillità per un weekemd
Pros:

La struttura è facile da raggiungere e mette a disposizione un comoda parcheggio gratuito. La proprietaria è stata molto gentile nonostante non parlassimo tedesco e ci ha subito fatto sapere della possibilità di aggiungere la colazione anche per un solo giorno (a pagamento). Camera pulita, spaziosa e molto confortevole.

Cons:

Purtroppo l'hotel si trova davanti ad una chiesa le cui campane suonano a tutte le ore, anche a notte fonda. Non è ovviamente colpa della struttura ma ha reso le notti decisamente difficili.

Superb
Pros:

The place was extremely clean and quite spacious. The woman who runs it is very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent. We will definitely be going back. It gets a bit chilly at night, which we love, but is good to know for dressing a baby.
