Ubicación
Location and still
The most important thing in a hotel is a good night’s sleep. Unfortunately, the bed and pillows were in very poor condition. The pillows were old, lumpy, and extremely uncomfortable, making it almost impossible to sleep.
In addition, all of the doors appear to be old and make a very loud noise when closing, which creates constant disturbance.
What was even more unacceptable was that at 11:40 PM I was awakened by a loud conversation between the front desk employee and a guest right outside my room. Guests stay at a hotel expecting peace and quiet, and this level of noise late at night is completely inappropriate.
Location was perfect.
It was very old but the rooms were renovated. No AC.
The location was ideal for the day. That’s about it.
The hotel and our rooms did not have any air conditioning. The temperature at the hotel and in our rooms was very high. The two windows in my room were jammed shot, I could not open them. It was late at night and I was exhausted from a 7 hours drive to the hotel. The next morning, I couldn’t relax in my room because of the heat of the sun, I had to go outside, on the street, to get some fresh air. Further more, the woman on the front desk was very rude, unhelpful, and unwelcoming, as if she was doing us a favor by checking us in.
Comfortable bed, nice staff, clean bathroom, location.
Hidden fees, poor parking situation, German roaches(just a few) in the bathroom, no AC, and loud because you have to keep the windows open.
Location and small club atmosphere
San Francisco was extremely hot - heat wave - and the room was not air conditioned. This isn’t criticism, as air conditioning is not normally needed in the City.
The staff were excellent, especially Natalie and Stanley who gave us first class advice
Thank you, Alice and Clifford Rosen
Breakfast was OK although the slices of bread were rather thick for my liking; the coffee cups and dishes were rather small so would have preferred a larger size for my drink and space to put more than one item of food upon. One big problem - there were no napkins of any sort available; very odd for the UC not to provide them for a meal.
As above: no napkins.
Bed and room were gross. Possibly unwashed sheets.
