I thought the hotel was really nice, our room was great. Loved all the finishes.
Pros:

room was really nice and spacious. Loved it, unfortunately the balcony looked out onto an ulgy field.

Cons:

When checking in, employee was really nice but seemed untrained when ask about our room. I wanted a room with a view and I was willing to pay more. He did not know the location of our room and did not seem to care.

disturbances from the roof to bar Very unhelpful manager
Pros:

The location was great a short drive over the bridge to old town St Augustine. A regular shuttle would be a great addition - can be shared by all the hotels at the location. Rooms very spacious . Great breakfast and excellent standard of decor in the lobby and dining room. Has a very roomy and luxury feel.

Cons:

The room we were allocated was on the third floor. As soon as we got to the room we could hear running water - like rain coming from the corner. Notified reception and a maintenance person who spoke little English was sent up. He could not figure out where it was coming from. Changed our room to next door and the water sound was even worse a little later on- like a torrent of running water almost every 15 mins. From the bathroom toilet flushing sound very loud and regular sounds of pulling furniture. At that time no other room available. In the morning at reception we complained again as we got very little sleep and were told that there is a roof top bar above us she said she could not move us to the available room without manager permission. Manager refused the room change and lied that the bar would be shut now until we checked out- it was open- we stayed five nights- complaining each morning about the disturbance but nothing was done and we were not offered a room change or reimbursed.
Do not get a room in the third floor, maybe it’s only some rooms under the rooftop bar above -I don’t know- unless you are a very heavy sleeper!!!
