Great peaceful nature lodge
Pros:

Our stay at the villa in Flameback Eco Lodge was an incredible experience surrounded by nature. The villa is spacious, beautifully designed, and blends perfectly with the natural environment. Waking up to the sounds of birds and the peaceful lake view made with the small pool feel truly relaxing, staff were friendly and also arranged private Yala Safari for us.

Romantisch, Informativ zu kurz da es wirklich besonders schön dort war.
Pros:

Wunderschöne exclusive Zeltbehausungen in zauberhafter Natur auf einer Landzunge am See gelegen. Das Personal war zauberhaft und nach einer Führung durch einen Vogelkundler auf dem Resort Gabriele Willer es einen leckeren Begrüßungsdrink. Das Dinner war romantisch auf der überdachten Restaurantterasse mit Blick auf den See. Das Frühstück konnten wir am Vorabend aussuchen und wir bekamen sehr leckere regionale Speisen für uns weniger Scharf gewürzt.
Der Nationalpark für die Safari‘s ist auch nur 45 Minuten entfernt.

Pros:

We had a brilliant time at Flameback Eco Lodge.
The suite we had booked was absolutely stunning - a huge tent with great facilities and lots of nice touches.
The staff were the stand out aspect of the stay - they were so attentive, accommodating and helpful, arranging packed lunches for us ahead of our 5.30am safari departure and checking in on us to ensure we were enjoying our stay. We were celebrating a very special occasion while there and the team went above and beyond to make it feel extremely special - big thanks to Saduni, Isuru, Tharuka and Dimuthu in particular!
Also the grounds of the property are really beautiful, right by the lake with lots of local birds and relatively quick and easy to get to Yala for safari

Enjoyable stay in comfortable “glamping” style tent
Pros:

We stayed in the honeymoon tent. It was a romantic vibe and the view out over the water and private pool were lovely. The restaurant was very good. Great breakfast. Evening cocktails by the fire pit also a lovely touch.

Cons:

It was hard to see very well as the lighting was quite dim. I guess it’s hard in a tent.

Een onvergetelijke ervaring en aanrader!
Pros:

Dit was echt een top verblijf. Door de verschillende reviews waren we niet zeker, maar gelukkig hebben we ons hier niet door laten afleiden. Wij hebben echt geen ene opmerking op dit hotel. Het hotel ligt dicht bij de bewoonde wereld maar heeft echt een Out of Afrika gevoel. Wij hebben geen last gehad van geluid. Alles was super schoon. De massage was fantastisch en het personeel doet zo ongelooflijk zijn best om het je naar de zin te maken. De ontvangst cocktail wordt voor het avondeten geserveerd in de tuin bij een vuur en is mega romantisch. Het eten is ook erg lekker en voor Tharuka was geen moeite teveel.
De safari geboekt bij het hotel was ook uitmuntend
Als we langer hadden kunnen blijven dan hadden we dat zeker gedaan.

Cons:

Als we dan een puntje van kritiek moeten verzinnen dan is het dat de verlichting in de luxe tent wat beter kan. Maar heeft ook zn charme.

A must stay if you like glamping and nature!
Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful. The tent was designed well with separate toilet and shower and was very clean on arrival. We had a complimentary bird watching tour with guide then a free cocktail before dinner. Nice touch👍
Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant was excellent.

Cons:

Shame you could hear the road in such a tranquil setting but it didn’t spoil the stay.

Oasis of calm with lots of wildlife and birds with a lovely swimming pool next to a lake.
Pros:

Excellent Safari with really knowledgeable ranger guide (Chummi). This really made all the difference for our wonderful trip to Uda Walawe National Park. Also, David, the head waiter made us all feel very welcome.

Un coin de paradis
Pros:

Nous avons absolument tout aimé dans cet hôtel . Le personnel est juste incroyable . Le réveil vu sur le lac est génial , le chant des oiseaux . L’hôtel est composé uniquement de 8 tentes car le propriétaire veut préserver la nature . Les tentes offrent tout le confort nécessaire . Le petit déjeuner est copieux .
Nous avons aussi réservé le safari directement avec l’hôtel .
Tout a été parfait

Cons:

Rien , le seul regret est d’être reste uniquement 2 nuits .

Pros:

Kleines Hotel mit viel Privatsphäre. Aussergewöhnlich war der Bird Walk mit dem Naturalist, ein absoluter Profi in seinem Gebiet und sehr freundlich.
