Great stay
Pros:

We loved it here! Beautiful peaceful setting. Ideal for a night or two when going on a safari at yala. Great staff and great food! HUGE room! We would come back.

Cons:

Very large room - we felt the air conditioning wasn’t sufficient to keep that big a space cool. There was also a fan however so we coped okay!

Ruhiges Hotel am See
Pros:

Sehr weit außerhalb gelegen, aber landschaftlich wunderschön. Geräumiges Zimmer und schönes Bad. Toller Pool mit Blick auf den See und leckeres Essen. Zurückhaltendes aber bei Ansprache hilfsbereites Personal, hat bei gewünschten Unternehmungen unterstützt und Fahrer/Touren organisiert.

Pros:

The pool and the view from the pool was great! The staff was very nice. They woke up early to make sure we got on our tour safely.

Cons:

The bathroom had a bad smell. It needed a good cleaning. Even though they moved our room because of a broken AC, the 2nd room's AC did not work well either.

Pros:

Excellent room, comfy bed, great breakfast, really good shower and massive bathroom. It is a little bit far from the town but we only stayed 1 night for a safari and if you need a tuk tuk they can arrange for you. We had dinner after safari and it was very good. Definitely stay at this place!

Pros:

We were there only one night and basically stayed the night for the early morning safari.
Property is good with friendly staff.
They provided a packed breakfast for safari. Room and bathroom were very large. This is a resort style property. The approach road is a dirt track and is not close to town. All in all a good place to stay. They had arranged a jeep for the safari that picked and dropped us back.

Cons:

Nothing much to dislike except flies in the common area in the evening.
Location as I said is not close to town.

2 star rundwon motel with nice staff and good food.
Pros:

Nothing really, if you are on a limited budget it ll make do but it is akin to an old run down 2 star motel.
Also the road leading up to the property… the off roading in nearby Yala park was smoother than this road.
Insane.

Cons:

Staff was pleasant , helpful and for a really decent price they put together some good meals for us
Also rooms are big… kinda empty but big.
So whatever floats your boat… if you re roughing it backpacking or tuk tuking across the island on a thin budget it’s great… if you re used to some standards for the places you stay in I d give it a wide berth.

Pros:

Hele ruime en nette kamer. Via het hotel hadden we een safari voor yala geboekt, de chauffeur was heel goed en wilde ons ook wel eerder ophalen, blij mee. Personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Cons:

Foto's op booking waren heel erg verouderd. Er zat nu een hek tussen het zwembad en het meer, dus geen mooi looppad. En er was achterstallig onderhoud: verzakte tegels bij zwembad en gaten, dus net onze kleine kinderen niet heel fijn.
