Hôtel au top!
Pros:

Chambre au top avec une terrasse avec vue sur le piscine. Le restaurant est aussi hyper agréable. Le personnel est super gentil et accueillant (comme tous les sri lankais d’ailleurs). Il y’a en plus une salle de sport, la piscine et le bain à remous sont vraiment bien.

The location was perfect for access to the town and Yala National Park Also right on the river so interesting birds around.

The hotel was spotless, the staff were continually cleaning, the pool was beautifully looked after.

The staff team were lovely, would do anything for you with a smile.

Food was good quality, breakfast included juice, fruit, eggs, pancakes, sausages and toast. You could pay for an English or Sri Lankan breakfast. The dinner menu was varied and reasonably priced.

Drinks included beer, cocktails, wine, juices, smoothies etc. again reasonably priced.

Our room was a treehouse over the river. It had two balconies, one overlooked the garden and river, the other, the pool and main hotel. This was a great experience, felt part of nature. Great shower, A/C and fridge.

The hotel arranged a full day safari for us to Yala National Park. It was amazing, our guide was very knowledgeable, we saw and photographed 2 leopards, along with countless elephants, buffalo, birds and reptiles. Yes there are a lot of Jeeps in the park, but we spent the greater part of the day alone, Yala is massive. We were pleased we had booked the full day but it is tiring, a half day may be enough for some people.

Cons:

Be aware that as dusk arrives so do the mosquitos. The hotel do every thing they can to dispense them but itis mosquito paradise . Wear long trousers and sleeves to minimise exposure.

Luxury!
Pros:

Super clean, very friendly staff and great food!

Cons:

Only minor thing was as we were only staying for one night, we were unable to order from the Sri Lankan menu- in saying that the staff were very accommodating and cooked my partner a chicken curry regardless. Very tricky to give a bad point for this hotel!

Fantastisch!
Pros:

De vrouw achter de receptie is enorm vriendelijk en welbespraakt. ‘s avonds laat staat ze nog achter de receptie en om half 5 ‘s ochtends komt ze zelf het ontbijtpakketje voor de safari brengen. De mannen in het restaurant doen ook alles voor je en maken altijd even een praatje als je langs loopt. Het hotel is een plaatje en het zwembad heerlijk om neer te ploffen na je safari.

Cons:

Alles is echt top. Als ik dan iets moet noemen, dan vonden wij het bed wel echt hard. Maar dat is persoonlijk.

Absolutely fantastic and have already arranged a return visit!!!
Pros:

The hotel itself was spotless throughout. The staff were superb in everything they did and offered. Nothing was too much trouble for them.super friendly and all had time for you. Owner/manageress exceptional.

Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at the River Front hotel. The entire staff was great, so helpful and accommodating. They even arranged a safari for us when our booked one was cancelled at the last minute the night before and the driver/tracker was excellent. The food was good, the hotel clean, the pool nice. Overall, an excellent stay!

Pros:

Et svært vellykket opphold. Hotellet organiserte safari . Maten var gjennomgående svært god med godt utvalg, og uteområdet var både pent, velholdt og avslappende. Rommene holdt høy standard og var komfortable. Personalet var utmerket og veldig imøtekommende.

Et hotell som leverer på alle områder og absolutt kan anbefales.

Fantastic hotel with easy access to Safari!
Pros:

Lovely hotel with amazing staff. They went above and beyond to make our stay easy and memorable. The food at the restaurant was excellent and the service was incredible. We felt very welcomed by each and every staff member who made our trip extra special.

Hotel bien entretenu et personnel agréable
Pros:

personnel sympa et disponible.
Chambre très propres

Cons:

River front devrait mériter son nom et soigner l'accès à la riviére, au fond de son jardin ce qui n'est pas du tout le cas actuellement. le rivage n'est pas dégagé ni propre.
