There are not enough good words to say about this accommodation. Stylish, contemporary architecture and the best shower in all of Sri Lanka! Indika, the manager, is an outstanding host who helped arrange tours and transport. This man brings love to everything he does. He’s also an excellent cook who prepared amazing dinners, and wonderful breakfasts. We were very well cared for during our five night stay.

Indika and his team went above and beyond for us to make sure we had an amazing stay. Thank you so much. On the first night we arrived late and Indika prepared a dinner for us so that we didn’t have to go into town and could have more rest before the early safari start the next day.

Here is where we experienced the best food we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Indika is an incredible cook! Well remember those dishes for a long time. We hope Indika starts his own cooking classes! We’ll be back!

The safari was a wonderful and memorable experience. Our guide was very knowledgable about the animals and took us to the best spots. We saw leopards, elephants, crocodiles, mongoose, peacocks, so many variety of birds, buffalos, deer, and more.

The room was large and comfortable and the shower was great! Modern bathroom with powerful shower and plenty of hot water.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft in der Nähe des Nationalparks. Das Bett war sehr gemütlich und auch das Badezimmer sehr schön mit toller Dusche und warmen Wasser.
Das Personal war unfassbar nett, aufmerksam und sehr zuvorkommend – wir haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt.
Sie erfüllen jeden Wunsch.

Die Safari sollte man unbedingt über die Unterkunft buchen. Unser Guide war großartig und hat sich unglaublich viel Mühe gegeben, damit wir viele Tiere sehen. Gleichzeitig hat er uns immer genug Zeit gegeben, die Tiere in Ruhe zu beobachten. Er hat wirklich alles dafür getan, dass wir einen Leoparden sehen – und am Ende hatten wir tatsächlich Glück!

Für die Safari hat uns die Unterkunft außerdem ein tolles Lunchpaket sowie eine Kühlbox voller Wasser vorbereitet. Auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Insgesamt ein wirklich besonderer Aufenthalt, den wir absolut weiterempfehlen können.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet home stay. Les propriétaires sont des gens vraiment très gentils et attentionnés. Les petits déjeuner et repas sont excellents, recherchés, raffinés et faits avec des produits de très bonne qualité. La chambre est très grande et très agréable, tout comme la salle de bain. L'environnement est très calme tout en étant très proche du centre (10 minutes à pied). Les propriétaires nous ont trouvé un guide pour faire Yala. Trés très bonne expérience, à faire vraiment. A faire aussi absolument Ranminithenna Tele Cinema Village, de vrais décors de Bollywood. Même si c'est un peu laissé à l'abandon, cela vaut le coup. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement.

Delicious breakfasts and food in the restaurant. The organized safari day was very enjoyable, and the driver who took us told us a lot about birds and other animals. One day we managed to see a leopard several times!

Our three-day stay at Ariya Tissa was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt truly world-class, marked by hospitality that came straight from the heart.
The room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. Every meal was lip-smacking and memorable, reflecting great care, quality, and attention to detail.
A very special mention to Kanchana and Indika, who were the perfect hosts. They went above and beyond in every possible way, making us feel genuinely at home and ensuring our stay was seamless and warm.
Ariya Tissa sets a benchmark for gracious hospitality, and we leave with wonderful memories and gratitude.

Indika the manager, his wife and his team were wonderful. The rooms are fabulous with the best shower we have had since arriving in Sri Lanka (the 6th place we have stayed). The attention to detail, the cleanliness and service were excellent! The food was fantastic with every effort to go that little bit extra to make a difference.. Even the salads are made with care and difference. We had problems with our jeep the day we left and Indika did everything possible to dind a solution. We can highly recommend this establishment without hesitation. Thank you Indika and your team for everything! 🙏

Wir wurden direkt bei Ankunft herzlichst empfangen, da wir etwas früher als Check-in da waren bekamen wir noch einen selbstgemachten Eistee aufs Haus. Die Zimmer sind sehr komfortabel und modern. Die Dusche hatte einen sehr guten Wasserdruck. Die Safari die uns über das Hotel vermittelt wurde war wunderbar, unser Fahrer Nishanka hat sich sehr gut ausgekannt und hat sich den tieren gegenüber sehr respektvoll verhalten. Der Besitzer des Hotels kocht außerdem für seine Gäster und sein Essen kann man wirklich nur empfehlen. Er macht das ganze mit so einer Leidenschaft und Freude und hat uns immer wieder etwas zum Probieren gebracht. Besonders empfehlen können wir das Grilled chicken und die Garlic butter prawns. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen!!!

The hosts were really nice and helpful, the food was great and on top of that the safari we booked with them was totally worth it! We even saw the leopard!

Manager arranged a fabulous private safari and packed us breakfast and lunch. Four leopard spottings!
The manager spent three years as a cook at the Sri Lankan embassy in Australia. The dinner he cooked us after our safari was the best we had all holiday. We wished we’d eaten there both nights.

Super nice hosts that did everything for us to have a nice time. The food was amazing - fresh, selfmade and prepared with a lot of love.

The property is a bit secluded so you feel relaxed instantly. The room was very spacious with new/modern furniture and the bathroom was incredible, especially the shower worked really well.

The Safari with Nishshanka is also worth every cent. His experience really showed when looking for leopards. Other cars were going around like crazy, while he just told us: „we‘ll wait here for 10 minutes have your breakfast“. And wouldn‘t you know it, we were the first to spot the cat maybe 50m away while eating… At first we thought it might have been luck, but a very similar situation played out in the afternoon. So we’re pretty confident, he‘s the man to go to Yala with.

It was probably the second best room we have been in Sri Lanka. Room is tidy and clean, hot water available for the shower, wide spaces, nicely decorated. The staff is nice, especially the man who welcomed us at night, he speaks english and has a really welcoming attitude.

Warm welkom, prachtige accommodatie, kleinschalig (2 kamers), zeer ruime en schone kamers. Van alle benodigdheden voorzien (goede bedden, ruime douche met heerlijke waterstraal, tv (indien je hier behoefte aan heb), koelkast, airco.) Complex staat in een prachtige tuin (binnenplaats) die top verzorgd en bijgehouden wordt.

Personeel staat in alles voor je klaar. Ontbijt kan Srilankaans of op verzoek Engels. Er wordt met alles rekening gehouden. Ook kan je aangeven dat je wilt lunchen of dineren en ook dit wordt in de puntjes geregeld door de beheerders. Personeel kan ook taxi (vervoer) of safari voor je regelen.

Locatie, op loop afstand van centrum/winkels. Het meer kan je makkelijk met een tuktuk bereiken (zn 7min)
