Pros:

Very nice and friendly hosts.

Cons:

Unfortunately there was rat poison in the room beneath the beds. That was giving off a real hatsh smell. While it's understandable that it is necessary maybe there is also another way to prevent rodents.

Authentic experience with beautiful hosts.
Pros:

Epic experience! We stayed in the tree house, it was perfect for our 2 families of 4. We also had dinner cooked there, adults had the Sri Lankan curry and kids had chicken noodles, highly recommend and so much food. As there aren’t restaurants around, this is the best option.
The location is beautiful and peaceful, staying directly on the river, you’ll see beautiful birds, monkeys and if you’re lucky, a crocodile.
The owners son is 10, his name is Manjet and he’s lovely, his smile is heart melting. If anyone is heading over, I know he’d love a cricket bat if you have room in your language.
We also booked our safari directly through the property, this worked well for us as we had a jeep to ourselves and were well cared for.
Make sure you take cash as there are no atm’s close.
Yala is about a 35 minute drive from the accommodation. We saw elephants, mongoose, crocodiles, deer, water buffalo, heaps of beautiful birds and monkeys.

Pros:

Authentic experience with the outdoor kitchen, the food that the hosts made. One of the best dinners we had. They were very helpful hosts and kind. We took the Yala safari with them, and they also helped organise our transfer to Ella with the Udawalawa safari on the way.

Интересный вариант проживания, домик на сваях, экзотично, рядом с природой, поют птици, летает большое количество, разнообразие птиц огромное.. Постель чистая, нет посуды совсем, чашек не хватало, хотя чайник стоит.

Cons:

Много комаров, нет горячей воды, хотя был подогреватель, но он не работал. Домик старый, когда кто нибудь ходит в нем очень шумно и трясётся все. Озеро не видно, освещения не хватает, лампочек недостаточно, и очень темно. Всю ночь пели молитвы в храме в громкоговоритель.

De perfecte locatie als je van natuur houdt om te verblijven tijdens je safari. Bijzonder vriendelijke familie. Mijn safari laten regelen door ze voor een zeer schappelijke prijs voor een gehele dag, perfect als je alleen rondtrekt. 3 hele lieve honden en sochtends zelfs een krokodil aan de oever van het terrein!

Obiekt zgodny z opisem, pyszne śniadania lankijskie 🙂 polecam zamówić kolację u gospodyni, przygotują świetną ucztę! Pobyt bardzo się nam podobał z dala od zgiełku, do miasta najlepiej podskoczyć tuk tukiem, w okolicy nie ma żadnych sklepów, ale w wodę czy napoje można zaopatrzyć się u gospodarzy. Dobry stosunek jakości co ceny!

We enjoyed our stay at this family-run homestay near Yala! It's located right in the jungle with a lovely view of the lake — so peaceful and relaxing. The family was kind and welcoming. They helped us organize a fantastic safari to Yala National Park. Everything went smoothly, and we saw so much wild nature!
Recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, nature-filled stay close to Yala.

Pros:

La familia fue super cercana, a la cena tuvimos una larga conversación con ellos muy interesante en la que aprendimos mucho del país y si cultura, hicimos el safari con ellos y todo fue genial incluso nos dejaron un desayuno para llevar. El lugar es precioso y super recomendable de visitar

Cons:

Por nuestra parte no hay nada malo, lo único es que si eres aprensivo con los animales avisamos: la cabaña es estupenda pero al estar en ese entorno hay muchos bichos y animales de todo tipo, la cabaña no tiene mosquiteras en las ventanas por los que entraban bichos y mosquitos aparte nos entró una rana por el váter.

Magnifique emplacement face au lac, d'où l'on peut voir le lever du soleil. Agréable d'écouter les bruits de la nuit (dommage que la voisine écoute la télé très fort le soir et qu'un resort plus loin fasse la fête ce soir-là). Très bons repas. La famille est très sympa. Plutôt que d'aller faire un safari, nous avons choisi de passer la journée dans une plantation de bananes familiale où nous avons pu nous promener et cuisiner un délicieux repas (beaucoup plus authentique que le safari).

Die Lage ist ein Traum. Die Gastgeber unglaublich freundlich. Es herrschte eine familiäre Atmosphäre, die unglaublich gut tat. Das Baumhaus ein absolutes Erlebnis 😊. Die Fenster waren ohne Glas 😊. Das Essen unglaublich lecker. Das Wandern um den See ebenfalls sehenswert.

Cons:

Der Deckenventelator war kaputt. Jedoch standen 2 Standventilatoren zur Verfügung.
Einige Lampen funktionierten nicht oder gaben nur so viel Licht ab, wie ein Kindernachtlicht. Insgesamt sehr spärlich beleuchtet. Wir mussten uns mit unsrer Taschenlampe helfen. Das Türschloss war defekt. Wir hatten jedoch den Eindruck das unser Hab und Gut absolut sicher ist.

Pros:

Super cabane dans les bois près d'un lac c'est super joli
Nous avons fait la sortie à la "ferme" dans la jungle avec le jeep une super journée sur le parc national de yala où nous avons super bien mangé local et nous avons appris plein de choses sur les plantations les animaux etc... A faire sans hésitation
Et en gros plus mon fils avait oublié son doudou la propriétaire s'est chargée de le transmettre à un passager et nous avons pu le récupérer 💕
