Great location, loud and dirty hotel.
Pros:

I didn't dare to have breakfast in that hotel.

Cons:

Everything was awful. The receptionist couldn't get the information he needed from my passport. He struggled a lot to understand an international ID which had my address on it.

The hotel is noisy af, the room I stayed had a lot of noise coming from the reception, the kitchen and everyone who walked on the hallways made a lot of noise throughout the night.

The hotel itself is crumbling apart, dirty ac, rusty utilities, outlet falling apart, towels and bedsheet are stained.

It's simple horrible. I've heard they are closing in December 2024, so they are not taking care of it.

cheap and comfortable
Pros:

good location to the attractions but there are hills. it is a budget hotel so dont expect 5 star but its cheap, good beds and hot water. quiet. parking is off road and included. basic breakfast but there are some cafes nearby and an excellent buffet lunch place down the road. we were happy with the room and the service. note no English but not a problem

Cons:

We were moved into three rooms within 20 minutes. Why we were moved from the first room was not explained, after being in the second room it was evident it hadn’t been cleaned after the previous tenant, wet towel on floor after shower, sticky floor for some reason. We then went to a third room.
Breakfast was made of white bread tools with butter, a selection of three biscuits and coffee. After having stayed in numerous South American hotels what was standard in other hotels but missing here were jam(s) to put on your roll, any fruit, toast option, ham or cheese.
They did have a juice available, a litre from a bottle was poured into a jar, once it ran out it wasn’t refilled, I know because I asked for this to happen. Therefore, for juice it’s a lottery if you get any. I saw a couple who arrived after us and the man seemed so apologetic to his partner as to what they were presented with.

As for the shower refer to the photo below, make your own mind up.

Inexpensive clean and quiet
Pros:

It’s clean , inexpensive, quiet , good hot water reasonably close to shops and major attractions , a good buffet is just around the corner . Car parking is a bonus, staff who spoke no English were still helpful and friendly ( google translate helped ) all in all not too bad a stay
