We liked it a lot. Accommodated our need to do Fellfoot Parkrun
Pros:

Half of it used to belong to my great aunt Jane and her husband who was a charcoal burner. History, panoramic across the Lyth Valley. Quiet - Just off the beaten track. Excellent food & service

Cons:

Car parking was tight but do-able.

great staff, great location. A pub with rooms and done well. Definitely recommend.

Bigger bed but that might be hard given the room size and the one we had was perfectly fine for our stay.

Amazing! The rooms, location and everything was amazing. The food was awesome. Everything I had of the menu was exceptional.

The WiFi could be better but the phone signal is great and who needs the internet with amazing views, great food and drink.

The room was great. Breakfast very good. Evening meal not so good. Not much meat in Pie. Vegetables under cooked.

In a fantastic location, the room was absolutely perfect, the attention to details was amazing and the staff were amazing, it’s a shame this was a one night stop over coming back from Scotland, would highly recommended and we will be back.
