Great traditional pub with fantastic accommodation
Pros:

Lovely cosy traditional pub with a lovely beer garden. Food was fantastic and our table was reserved for us from when we arrived. This was handy because it started to rain so we had to come inside. The food was lovely and very reasonably priced. Staff were lovely. We stayed in the 1 bedroom appt (Tythe) and needed the sofa bed as there were 4 of us. This was pre prepared for us which was great. Both beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. The accommodation was clean and spacious with a fabulous view and lots of outdoor seating and space. Tythe has the best shower EVER, perfect after a day on the fells!

Pros:

Loverly room with a little garden with superb views.
Staff were very attentive and helpful.

Breakfast didnt start till 9.and we had to leave by 8.30.
Although they did provide a small takeaway breakfast

We liked it a lot. Accommodated our need to do Fellfoot Parkrun
Pros:

Half of it used to belong to my great aunt Jane and her husband who was a charcoal burner. History, panoramic across the Lyth Valley. Quiet - Just off the beaten track. Excellent food & service

Cons:

Car parking was tight but do-able.

Pros:

Amazing! The rooms, location and everything was amazing. The food was awesome. Everything I had of the menu was exceptional.

Cons:

The WiFi could be better but the phone signal is great and who needs the internet with amazing views, great food and drink.
