Dinner must be pre booked and is subject to availability . This can be noted in the Special Request box when booking or by contacting the property using the contact details found on the booking confirmation.

The Cedar Restaurant is open from Monday to Thursday for breakfast from 07:00 until 08:45 and for dinner from 18:30 until 20:30.

If a formal meal is not required a bar snack menu is available. The bar snack menu will be available from 19:00 until 21:00.

A bar menu may be available on Sunday evenings, subject to guest numbers. Please contact Ashorne Hill directly to confirm.

Dinner is subject to availability at the weekends. Please check prior to arrival if you are considering this option.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Basically we were in a 70s built student dorm building well away from the imposing Victorian/Edwardian building. Nothing wrong with it. But basic.

Comfortable, clean room with great food.
Pros:

Location is perfect for us-near the motorway.
Our second visit. In the Old Quad this time. Lovely room. Good food in bar. Wonderful breakfast.

Cons:

We were not aware we had to book ahead for the restaurant. It was closed on our first visit but open last night??

Disappointing but still good.
Pros:

It was clean , and we’ll set up for large groups

Cons:

The picture suggests an old Manor House type stay but you actually stay in ‘conference’ , business type accommodation. Set up for big groups not couples

Great stopover
Pros:

Good general location, easy to find. Great staff.

Cons:

Bit of a small walk to reception to return the key pass. No dedicated footpath if you want to walk out of the property.

Do not stay if you are looking fit a nice hotel. I turned up late ands was v dissappiinted and had to find another hotel

There is "room" for improvement

Cons:

Sheets of my bed were not very clean. Cleanliness of the room was below average. My room was very tiny, the desk to work on with my laptop was too small, with not enough space for the clutter of cables for my laptop and iPhone. When I closed my laptop, having not noticed that a cable got caught in the hinge of my computer, it caused my screen to get damaged. Isolation between the room extremely poor. I could hear my neighbour snoring on the one side and another one coughing (not even moud) on the other side.

We’d Definately Stay Again
Pros:

Nice grounds, we actually stayed in the Quad…. Which is like an old stable/coach courtyard. We didn’t use the gym but it has one!
Room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Bed was comfortable.
I can’t really fault it.
Check it was quick and there were several parking spaces.
This is primarily a conference centre. This makes me think my career choices could have been better and included lots of conferences!

Cons:

Nothing about the hotel itself, very minor but just the coffee…… it could be stronger.
But that’s a personal thing.

Pros:

We stay in the old side was beautiful very nice, food was amazing had the 3 course dinner, the waitress was truly amazing. Room great nice size, clean , quite.

Cons:

Just the mattress was on the firm side not to are liking... other than that cant complaine ...

Would defo recommend and stay again in the future

Firstly it has the wow factor .
Parking was so easy .the grounds are well laid out .
The staff were friendly and helpful .the accommodation was so clean and tidy .
Everything you could want .Even had an iron and ironing board .

Peaceful retreat
Pros:

Lovely setting, pleasant staff. Restaurant and bar. Good use of a conference centre when not full. Nice rural views

Cons:

For me bed too hard, my husband would disagree though. No extra blanket in room if needed. Bar had no cocktails Sat eve. Some problems finding Malvern building as away from car park/ road so couldn't spot it.
