Disappointing, check which rooms you will be in before travelling some are better than others
Pros:

The location was amazing and the old house looks lovely. It was nice to wake up to countyside sounds rather than traffic.

Cons:

I was in the old part of the Malvern block which has seen better days, planned to stay two nights but got a refund and left after one. Pictures are deceiving and room needed serious attention. Paint peeling on window frame, cracked plaster on walls and a very tiny bathroom that you had to navigate the toilet to close the door with an old style corner shower. Definately not the pictures advertised.
Breakfast was luke warm, would suggest a plate warmer which may help food not being cold by the time you get back to the table

I would not return
Pros:

Comfortable Bed

Cons:

We were not advised in advance that there would be no bar or food availble due to a function. We drove for 3.5hrs and arrived in the evening looking forward to dinner. The reception staff were not very engaging. There was no heating in the bathroom ancd it was freezing. Below standard breakfast.

Stunning building & wonderful staff.
Pros:

Staff were really helpful, we arrived late evening and they did everything they could to make sure we could have food, we sat in the main hall by the open fire which was stunning, then Josh turned on the drinks machine so my partner could have hot chocolate then he brought us out a bar of chocolate which was such a lovely gesture. The room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was great too 👍🏻

Great value business stay!
Pros:

This was a nice quiet location with easy motorway access. The room was comfortable and quiet, I would say comparable a mid to low range hotel. The food in the bar for dinner was really good and the buffet style breakfast was fine. This is a good option for a short business stay but probably not quite luxurious enough for a personal weekend stay. It was however comfortable, really good value for money and the team were extremely friendly and helpful.

Cons:

My room was a little cold because the radiator needed bleeding and therefore the radiator did not get warm. The bathroom light comes on automatically which is a great safety feature but not so good if you need a middle of the night pit stop!

Comfortable and historic with great staff but cold in winter.
Pros:

Location, countryside and beautiful older part of the main building. Excellent breakfast and very helpful staff.

Cons:

We stayed in the Quad Court which is a few minutes walk outside in the converted stables, with high ceilings and inadequate heating on a particularly cold night in December. Had to ask staff first an additional blanket as the room had only one thin duvet on the bed and no spare blankets in the room. Rather ‘institutional’ feel to the room, as the site is a college rather than a dedicated hotel. Main dining room closed at weekends

Perfect accommodation near to Leamington Spa and Stratford on Avon.
Pros:

Ashorne Hill was a short distance from the M40 and was the perfect location for visiting Compton Verney, which was the reason for our stay. The location was stunning, with beautiful scenery viewed from our bedroom window. It was possible to open the windows wide, which I like as hotel rooms can be too hot. The heating in the room was very good and it was possible to turn the radiator off. The location was quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The, included, breakfast, both cooked and continental was buffet-style and plentiful. The cost was very reasonable.
