Dinner must be pre booked and is subject to availability . This can be noted in the Special Request box when booking or by contacting the property using the contact details found on the booking confirmation.

The Cedar Restaurant is open from Monday to Thursday for breakfast from 07:00 until 08:45 and for dinner from 18:30 until 20:30.

If a formal meal is not required a bar snack menu is available. The bar snack menu will be available from 19:00 until 21:00.

A bar menu may be available on Sunday evenings, subject to guest numbers. Please contact Ashorne Hill directly to confirm.

Dinner is subject to availability at the weekends. Please check prior to arrival if you are considering this option.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Excellent value for money,wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we were in the area
Pros:

A stunning property set in beautiful well maintained grounds. The rooms which were in a separate modern block and were extremely clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was buffet style and was superb!

Positive all round good. Comfort, quiet, good staff. Lovely place. Will stay again
Pros:

Close to the also festival. 23hr desk so I arrived late after work and that was ok. Comfy quiet room. All good really.

Cons:

Really hard to find. Google maps location differs from Apple maps- and the hotel link I used on the hotels website took me to a farm. All three led me elsewhere. Needs clarification.

We had no hot water on our final morning, so had to have cold showers. Not impressed.

We were advised before our stay and ahead of booking that there would be no evening meals available on the Sunday evening. So we made arrangements nearby for food. On arrival we were told that food was available as they had a change! It would help to notify people like ourselves of any changes as we would have preferred to stay at the place rather than travel out. We had travelled a distance and so quite disappointed. Also when we asked the reception via telephone what time breakfast ended we were given 8:45 as a finish time. But at the restaurant it was later! We were advised by a member of staff we had to vacate our room at 9:30. We were then told by the cleaner that it was indeed 10am! So very surprised with the mixed messages and no information available in the room that would clarify matters. These matters mare what could have been a perfect stopover!

Excellent stay in Quad rooms
Pros:

More than pleasantly surprised. We took a punt on staying here as some of the reviews were not favourable but the location and the price swayed us.
We were most impressed by the hotel and staff. We had two rooms in the Quad which were perfect with very comfortable beds and a huge bathroom. The location was great and the hotel grounds were lovely to wander around. We had drinks and a nice good value meal in the bar. Would definitely stay again.

Cons:

There wasn't an option to exclude breakfast when booking which we didn't need as were leaving early in the morning.

The a.c. was so welcome throughout the buildings in this very hot weather. Fantastic grounds, view from bedroom, friendly and efficient staff.

Cons:

I tried calling reception on numerous times and no one answered.
The room provided was very dirty as were the areas around the room.
When our food arrived the chicken was not cooked and later that evening I was very sick and had to leave.I therefore didn’t stay for the remaining time of my booking

Sunday night great value and smart accommodation
Pros:

Incredibly good value for money with a large room and bathroom overlooking the gardens.

Cons:

Lack of AC was a bit negative but to be fair, even in a heat wave my room wasn’t too hot. There was a fan and it was comfortable and I could sleep ok.

Oltre le aspettative
Pros:

Dimora storica immersa nel verde, con ampio parcheggio gratuito, belle camere, belli gli spazi comuni, ottimi la colazione ed il ristorante , personale cortese, tutto molto pulito. C'è anche una Spa, anche se noi non ne abbiamo usufruito.

Cons:

È in posizione Isolata, ma è una buona base d'appoggio per visitare i dintorni
