beautiful hotel and the small restaurant located beside the hotel where they serve breakfast is good.
Breakfast menu would benefit from more options on the menu and standard coffee.
This is a beautiful small hotel where detail matters. Staff are attentive and helpful without being overbearing. The decor is tasteful and artistic with modern touches. It always felt calm in the hotel and we usually had the pool area to ourselves. The gym is well equipped and cools down quickly with the two efficient AC units.
We had a heritage suite room which was spacious and stocked with little treats (fruits, nuts and daily filtered water). The bed was super comfortable and I loved the powerful shower and outdoor bath on the balcony.
Breakfast is served as the hotels sister cafe next door and the attention to detail is impressive. This is not a standard hotel buffet breakfast - we ordered a la carte drinks and meals that both looked and tasted beautiful. Again the staff were so friendly and kind and they looked so smart in the uniform. Included was also afternoon tea which was a relaxing place to escape the heat of the day from 3-5pm.
The hotel itself is situated in district 2 which I personally found far more relaxed than district 1. The metro station is very close and Grab taxis can easily get you to the main sightseeing areas of Saigon.
I am in the middle of a 4 month Asia trip and this hotel is the best I have stayed in so far. Truly deserving of more than three stars (it just shows how outdated the star rating system is given that many 5 star hotels I have stayed in do not come anywhere close to the high standards of this hotel).

Shout out to Phoebe the wonderful staff who spoke beautiful English and was very patient with us. The entire team was super helpful and would always smile. The hotel itself smelt lovely; like a wellness centre. Clean, classical vintage decor blended with modern amenities and facilities. Fantastic breakfast served by the restaurant next door. I regret not finding the time to try their cocktails which looks stunning in photos.
There was a lot of restaurants and general amenities nearby; Starbucks is 5-minutes away for example.
There really isn't much I can nitpick on. The swimming pool was wonderfully located on the 10th floor and had a stunning view of the city. I guess if the price of the hotel was more approachable I would without reservation give this place a 10/10 and visit every time I'm in Saigon.

The staff are lovely, very attentive. The design and vibe of the hotel is really special, and overall is very clean.

The breakfast is located in a neighbouring restaurant and would benefit from more options on the menu.
There is a lack of power sockets in the bedrooms at key areas. Would suggest larger/stronger bedside lamps.
There was some contraction work happening next door to the hotel and we were provided earplugs at check in. But I might have liked to know this prior to booking.
I was looking for a hotel in Thao Dien and this I believe is the best choice there. Great rooms with atmosphere. Wonderful staff.
A little hidden in a dead end street but this makes it more quiet. Still close to the main street.
The Hotel was so romantic, furniture was excellent and feels like it is rich in history! The showers were amazing and the staff are so friendly. They feel like family. It was the perfect way to start our South East Asia tour! The breakfast was lovely, the portion sizes ideal and just a great cultural, high quality value for money experience! We will definitely be back.

There was no milk in the rooms apart from power milk which does not work for tea and coffee. I suggest UHT in sachets which is environmentally friendly too.
The decor was just beautiful. I didn’t want to leave! The staff was very accommodating, and incredibly professional and kind.

Amanaki Thao Dien was our home for a week, and the experience was truly exceptional. The location was perfect, close to the metro station, and offered easy access to various bars and cafes the staff are fantastic. Highly recommended.
