The main hotel was right on the beach. The annex was not directly on the beach, but it was just steps from it and that was fine. The porch outside was fantastic to sit at and it’s beautiful. The windows and the doors were very intricate.

Cons:

since I booked on Expedia, not directly through the property, I was not in the main hotel, and the service was immediately degraded. A cat ended up peeing in my closet that was let in from the maids and ruined dress. They were very unhelpful with any kind of transportation, I had to do that on my own.

Ne vaut pas son prix
Cons:

J’ai réservé 2 chambres dans une seule réservation plus d’un mois et demi à l’avance, car nous voyagions en famille avec deux bébés.

À notre arrivée, nous découvrons que les deux chambres se trouvent dans deux bâtiments différents, ce qui a rendu notre séjour extrêmement compliqué au quotidien. Quand on voyage avec de jeunes enfants, ce genre de situation est loin d’être un simple détail et aurait pu être évité avec un minimum d’organisation, surtout pour une réservation effectuée aussi longtemps à l’avance.

J’ai immédiatement signalé le problème à la réception. On m’a répondu que l’hôtel était complet et qu’il fallait revenir le lendemain. Le lendemain, on me demande encore de revenir le jour suivant. Après plusieurs démarches, aucune solution n’a été trouvée. Pire encore, on m’a finalement expliqué qu’il fallait payer 70 € supplémentaires pour changer une seule des deux chambres afin qu’elle soit dans le même bâtiment que l’autre. Je trouve cela totalement inacceptable, surtout lorsque le problème provient de l’organisation de l’hôtel.

Autre mauvaise surprise : lorsque j’ai demandé un late check-out jusqu’à 14h, on m’a annoncé un supplément de 70 €. Faire payer un tel montant pour seulement trois heures supplémentaires par rapport à l’heure de départ prévue à 11h me paraît totalement excessif. J’ai donc refusé.

Concernant la chambre, la literie était très décevante. Le lit donnait l’impression de dormir sur un trampoline, avec les ressorts clairement perceptibles.

L’insonorisation est probablement la pire que j’aie connue dans un hôtel. J’avais l’impression qu’il n’y avait ni murs ni fenêtres tant les bruits passaient facilement. On entendait absolument tout ce qui se passait dans les chambres voisines ainsi qu’à l’extérieur. Les conversations, les déplacements, les portes qui claquent, les bruits de la rue… rien n’était filtré. Il était même possible d’entendre la moindre respiration ou les bruits les plus anodins des occupants des chambres voisines.
