Hotel Posada el Arcángel was the perfect home base for exploring Antigua. The location couldn’t have been better — everything I needed was either a short walk away or just a quick, inexpensive tuk‑tuk ride. It made getting around the city effortless and safe, especially for a first‑time visitor. The staff truly set this hotel apart. Everyone I interacted with was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, creating a comfortable atmosphere from the moment I arrived. One of the highlights was the adjoining café. The food was consistently excellent, and the service matched it. Whether it was breakfast, dinner, or a local brew, the café became one of my favorite parts of the stay. Overall, Hotel Posada el Arcángel delivered convenience, friendliness, and great food — a combination that made my time in Antigua even more memorable.

Excelente localização, próximo a Plaza Central e dos demais pontos turísticos. Equipe muito atenciosa. Limpeza e ambiente calmo e silencioso.

Cons:

o quarto tem janela para o corredor. Se houver muito movimento o quarto pode se tornar barulhento.

Location was spot on, the staff are amazing.
Sadly a very very tired hotel. Not what we were expecting at all.

We enjoyed our stay at this conveniently located hotel in the center of Antigua. The staff was absolutely amazing!
Pros:

Wonderful staff, very convenient, comfortable beds.

Cons:

It was probably only our room, but it was very noisy in our room. We could hear every word when people had conversations in the lobby.

Bien placé, personnel accueillant, douche chaude. Toit terrasse avec la vue sur les volcans. Pas de frais pour un paiement par CB.

Cons:

Chambre 101 au rez-de-chaussée, peu d'isolation phonique, pas de poignée pour ouvrir la salle de bain de l'extérieur si on ferme la porte (clé disponible auprès du personnel), manque au moins un rideau pour masquer la lumière du patio et de quoi accrocher les serviettes
